That coil is a worry, one came with my new engine, but luckily I know it could be a potential problem now. Look forward to the interview with Ben, he helped supply and gave info to my engine builder here in Australia. Keep it up Andy, all this content is great.

Excellent content really interesting and in terms we can all understand. One question do you do anything with the advance curves on the distributors ? and interested to know why you favoured the magnatronic Lumenition over the optronic chopper blade system ?? Keep up the great work 👌

thanks glad you enjoyed, yes the advance curve is modified so it’s static until peak torque then does a 15 degree swing, really helps the top end, shocks me how bad the advance curve is on some race type dizzy s! the magnetronic is very simple nothing to go wrong, the optronic has issues if the lense gets muck on it, also the 3 pin plug can cause misfires, lastly the amplifier can be heat sensitive

paper head gasket is just for the water, the chamber is sealed with a wills ring.
