Ingredients:
1lb RAW Large or jumbo shrimp
Sauce:
1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 cup Water
2 1/2 teaspoons Rice vinegar
3 tablespoons Hoisin sauce
2 tsps Fancy molasses
1 tablespoon Sesame oil
1 1/2 - 2 tbsps soy sauce
Fresh ground pepper (added of camera, you may add chili flakes as well)
Canola oil for stirfrying throughout
2 cups Brocoli Florets
8 - 10 Baby Carrots
1 small White onion
3 small Bell peppers different colours
Shrimp seasoned with:
2 tsps onion powder
2 tsps ginger powder
2 tsps garlic powder
Pinch of salt
2 - 3 tsps Minced ginger
1/2 tbsp or more minced garlic
Sesame seeds as desired
1Tbsp or more Green onions
Approximately 3 - 4 servings

This looks great. Carrots don't really work for me in stir fries because they stay too hard but maybe if I make them Matchstick size. I'm going to use oyster sauce instead of Hoisin because Hoisin is just too sweet for my taste. Thanks!

Jerene, ok use rice powder with your shrimp, you will have a clear liquid that is very tasty, try it, also use rice powder when ever you cook Asian food, your stir fry is perfect, and you have a nice clear voice. see yah.........BB

I made it! So good! I’m rusty at cooking so it was challenging but so fun. Thank you very very much. My only obstacle was corn flour from the uk wasn’t thickening like corn starch in the USA. Any tips for thickening? Also I used black treacle to substitute molasses since it’s sold out during holiday season on shelves.

It doesnt have to be super thick 🙂 Try regular flour to see how it works for you

It would definitely depend on 1. Whether the soy sauce you use is low sodium or regular 2. How much you adjust the recipe to your liking 3. The brand of soy sauce and hoisin sauce that you use Then you may check out one of the nutritional value calculators online

Sometimes the type of soy sauce used influences the colour of your stirfry. As long as you're happy with the flavour don't worry too much about the darkness💖💖

@@JerenesEats ​ lol that person is a rookie itself to be asking what temp are YOU cooking the shrimp on.. you actually did right as shrimp does not take long to cook by itself before incorporating it with other ingredients for a few more mins of cooking so dont mind that person lol thats why they never responded lol
