I literally had my first you tube live last night. With talking about catfishing, marshmallows came up. I even talked about doing this same experiment during our live Sunday show. Then today you were al ready on it. Can not wait to see the outcome you get. When I do it, will I get the same result. I was also told to leave marshmellows open and let them get stale.

So to help you understand catfish rigging, they aren’t line or weight shy. I won’t use anything less than 1 or 2 oz. Unless I’m using light tackle (like small bream poles for small channels) then I’ll use split shots. My most common rig is 4oz with a 8/0 circle hook. Bass are light weight rigs compared to catfish.

Sup lojo, you can buy cheddar powder, salt & vinegar powder ect.. just lightly spray mist of water on marshmallows, put in bag add powder like shake and bake for catfish too, at 15:00 min when pole hit was a Chinese fire drill lol, I cook on a different level but as chef, butcher, sportsman, his meals are right up our alley, he should do a cookbook, the wardens cookbook? So I have never used marshmallows either, until your last video. It absolutely caught a cat in water I have never fished about 2 weeks ago. Confirmed works, who knew!
