Shrimping and Fishing out of Whittier, Alaska!!

Join us as we head to Whittier, AK for the week to do some shrimping, fishing, and hiking. Weather and shrimping was a tough start but finally picked up for second half of the week.

Local Fishmonger got some spot prongs last year. I got 35 pounds from him and boy are they great texture and taste. Don't know how to get them this year he didn't get them. Any Ideas that wont break the bank getting them?

Buying them from a commerical fisherman will almost always be cheaper than doing it yourself. Boat, gear, fuel, and bait are gonna cost you way more than just buying them but it's all about the experience for us!
