We have been here 16 times on retreat and if we were younger we would move here. This video only scratches the surface of showing the beauty of this place. There is a sense of peace that envelopes the Shrine that words can not describe. When you go, plan to stay at one of the guest houses that line the road to the entrance, that keeps your experience alive. They are not owner occupied, (like a B&B is) you have the place to yourself. Each has it's own kitchen, bedrooms, living area, bathrooms. You just need groceries. The Queen of Peace Retreat Center, Lourdes, St. Clair, guest homes enhance your stay. You do not need to leave the the Shrine and go back into the "real world" of hotel lodging. Do not hesitate, go. You will be glad that you did and do not rush. Plan to stay a few days.

I only was in the shrine 2 times and I haven’t been since a couple of years and I miss it a lot. I agreed the peace we felt in the shrine can be compare only to heaven. The first time I visited the shrine I said that I was in heaven for a couple of days and return to earth.

This is one of my favorite shrines in the world-im glad that Fr. Mathew Mary, MFVA tells me the history and the virtual tour Thanks fr. Matthew Mary, He tells me about the shrine in detail and how it was started I'm like very interested and I would like to see everything in the Shrine
