This is a how to video of me shrink wrapping my patio furniture. This is a great fall business that we start in September and go all the way to Christmas. Here in the Northeast pressure washing slows down and you need something to keep us busy. We have been doing this for 5 yrs now growing each year. Any questions feel free and enjoy. Sorry for the length of the video but wanted to show the whole process.

The most detailed how-to shrink wrap vid. Thanks man. Hoping I can get a few clients late this year but it’s going to be an off season add on for my pressure washing business. Working on pricing now. Do you go by foot of material or just guesstimate off the amount of furniture for a quote?
@mattreno-washituppressurew6834
@mattreno-washituppressurew6834 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks bro. I charge by the pile. We discount after the first pile if they need multiple. A good starting point is charge like they do the boats. A good rule of thumb is $10 a foot. You can adjust from there. You may have to go higher to cover costs or lower to gain more business. All trial and error in your area.

Thank appreciate that. Definitely need a few thousand for startup and essential equipment. As far as material you need a marine supplier or you have to get from Dr Shrink or Mr Shrinkwrap. Either of those options will be more expensive. Material is not cheap and price went up this year as it is.

Hi Matt, thanks for the video. Very informative. Im looking to DIY. I do have one question. I saw you rolled up the outdoor rugs and placed them on the table. Would it be ok to drape the rugs over the top to protect the furniture from puncturing through the wrap? Or would it it be dangerous and catch fire. Also what’s the best place to purchase all necessary material and heat gun for a good cost. I Live in Staten Island close to the Outerbridge. Thanks Frank C.

Storage in general. I can see this being a possible upsell for people that don't plan on using their jet skies or boat for certain seasons. Some people have overhangs but not garages, this would be great. Some snowbirds are only down there during the winter.
