Homework: Rana 30% work in 12 days, so 100% work in 12/x10=40days, eff of Rana:Santo --3:4 T.w= 40dx3 (since we have rana's days and eff)=120u now Rana and santo works alternately so adding their efficiencies of 2 days----3+4=7u in 2 days they work for 24 days so...12x2d-----7ux12day=84u of work already completed. now Remaining work= 120-84=36 u. also, Rana+Rohit complete this remaining work in 6 days so, Rana+Rohit----36u/6d= 6u Rana's eff is already 3u, so Rohit's eff is 6u-3u=3u. and now 70% of the work is done by Santosh and Rohit together, so 120x70%==84u days were taken by Sant and Rohit= 84u/(4+3)= 12days.( which is the answer of the ques. )
