I prefer the warm glow of sodium lamps. LEDs actually can mimic the same colour as ceramic metal halide, high pressure sodium or even low pressure sodium, but most councils just prefer choosing LED streetlights with a CCT of 4000K and 5700K, which makes travelling at night unpleasant. Not to mention the environmental impact it has on certain animal species and insects.

Actually they are way brighter Also they are extremely efficient

@@stephensnell1379 It depends on the efficacy of each LED luminaire, plus warmer colour temperatures are obtainable with most LED luminaires on the market.

Trying to keep on top of Health And Safety in this video, but wrong hat under the hard hat, also step ladders are made for one and should not be climbed from the rear.

We have contacted Worcester council about a street light l[ like old 1950s swan neck concrete ] They say its not on their grid yet it has electric to it . we live in Malvern down an old walk and they say its private yet this lamp is on their grid on the internet [ Spencers walk [ off lower howsell road lamp 001 .. For 3 years they failed to come and fix the sensor and it was on day and night . Now it is not on at al just a lsigt glow from bayonet end of bulb. I have found bulbs on ebay Sox sodium 35w but a little afraid to fit the bulb myself. Any chance you guys know someone in Worcestershire who would fit the bulb .

LED is a pile of dog crap, low pressure sodium lamps will always be the best, i could not hate led more sadly i rarely see sodium lamps anymore only on motorways really
