Same in Apex or other BR's. Dealing a lot of Damage has a huge impact on the game (especially in round 5+) and increases the chances to win. Meaning enemies have to use Utility like Heals and Abilities to counteract the damage you dealt to them. You don't always need to shoot Players to get them killed.
@awesomebrotherhood76983 жыл бұрын
A personal experience is that I have taken viper and viper is all about making space and making entry easier for team mates and that means you are always watching the map, tracking where the enemies are, trying about how to control the battlefield, with such activities, no one except maybe Tenz can, you can’t frag a lot. Back when I was teaching people to play Siege one of the first things I made sure they understood is they don't have to frag out to be useful to the team. The scoreboard and your stats don't reflect how you communicate and give callouts and use utility. You win and lose as a team. It's the same with valorant and every team based shooter.

I often get a crap ton of Assists in my games, and I have no idea why. Looking at it in a pessimistic way, I can say that I have a lot of failed kills, and my aim sucks (which is true). But on the other hand, I can also see it as trying to help my teammates as much as possible by whittling down the enemys' health for them to finish off regardless if I died or not. I'm probably just trying to make myself feel better here, but I think I'm a great support for my team (being a Sova main). Those are my 2 cents, at least.

I taught a friend how to play TF|2s titans, and became his support bot afterwards, collecting batteries to heal him, sitting on his Titans shoulder like a sentient Turret throwing out thermite and magnetic grenades and stuff like that, used to end matches with around 86 points and him at 250 (highest being about 320) having never died, and we'd both get messaged by the same dude and it's like "Wow you're a god" to him and "Wow you're carried trash" to me And it used to be really funny to us because it was basically the other way around. One of my fondest memories was having 4 batteries stored up, 3 from my boost and one stolen from an enemy titan, and the process of giving my friend those batteries meant that I earned MORE batteries. So when I started giving them to him, He was at like, 1/4 health left, on his last legs. When I finished, he was back to full health, and had all of his monarch cores because GIVING him batteries, earned me more charge for the next one. Dude ended up with like 7 health bars, full overshields and a zapping AOE shield stealer while I continued to gremlin around feeding him more batteries. I basically full on stopped playing for myself for two years and just dedicated myself to being full fledged support, and it was sole of the funniest shit I ever did, and some of the hardest carrying I've ever done, basically without firing a shot at people.
