If Shroud reads this or if anyone is experiencing the same with some custom-made product- the customer service is bullshitting to the utmost limits. I used to work as one, and it's common as hell that they'll tell you "we're working on it now and it'll be there in xx time" when a product had been delayed. In fact, if you don't tell that it's been delayed for months and months, they WILL tell you the same bullshit if the agent has no means of tracking your order in real-time. Now if you ever get in the same position, and if by chance you know that their policy is that they're unable to cancel orders in xx time, just say you're cancelling the order. Persist on it. The worst thing that could happen is you'll get your money back and you'll flip off their company forever, the best thing that could happen is that you'll get the entire thing for free and receive discounts. If you're an avid buyer from a certain company (a big one with customer service, because you'll just embarass yourself if you talk to the actual owner/producers), it'd be best to read return policies so you could bitch about it as hard as you can. There's also the alternative of having millions of dollars so you wouldn't give a fuck about what you buy entirely.
