Riot built a game for competitive and competitive only and forgot people play games to have fun. The charm of a hype new game wears off at some point. Marvel Rivals will probably go through the same thing. The easiest way to solve this would be to give players the ability to make their own fun, basically a workshop like CS or forge like Halo. + the replay system lol

Yup and it was a tac shooter. There’s a few companies that came out with tac shooters too and failed. They don’t realize that people play cs Val and rainbow for reasons outside of just that game mode I 100% agree that Valorant needs more than just a tac shooter loop

even if each team can ban 1 agent, that's 2 agents gone and unpickable per game. This WILL cause a lot of variety, both for pro play and casuals. I mean come on if League already has 10 bans per game with 180 champions, surely it's not hard to introduce it here as well. Not everyone wants to play against some agents. And it's not like fkn Tejo is making that any more fun.

Champ bans are not the way rn Map bans at best. Theres no hard couters in the game so its uneccesary. Just add map bans so people don't have to play the shit they don't want to as much

As a D1 Valorant whiner I have question for those who have played CS since beginning how does CS not feel more boring than Valorant, do players also ask for new content in it or are they happy with what is available? What are your challenges apart from the cheaters?

CS has higher ceilling so player always learn or be better but in val is easier to master an agent because the ceilling isnt that high

Mechanical skill ceiling is way higher, there is always more room to improve. Valorant basically hands you a ton of hand holding info for free by just pressing tab, whereas in CS you're constantly forced to learn. Valorant tells you enemy economy which is massive, their ults and abilities that have been used, how much damage you did to someone, Val economy system is pretty basic, utility is mostly simple depending on your agent. Valorant has been slowly closing every way to show skill expression while CS has actually been increasing it.

every game is the same agents and same map like the same single map for like 4 games in a row how is that even possible the game is so boring tiring and repetitive especially in low elos omg in low elos its literally same maps same agents and same teammates no matter what server u play on it make u feel sick also its not only in comp its same thing in unrated and swift also they need to add modes and bring back old fun modes to change the pace and the mood like the game feels so empty and so boring the only thing they want is robbing ur money thru bad skins its crazy and also i didn't mention that earlier but bro the amount of cheaters lately i felt like play cs go without prime lmao i think the riot vanguard got a patch where its main focus rn is just spy / steal ur data and not catch cheats anymore lol i quit the game til they make some real changes so the game feel good again but rn im done

I don't think this works for Valorant. Sure, for Marvel Rivals it helps because it is a HERO shooter. Valorant is a tactical shooter, basically CS:GO but with powers. Regardless of team composition, if you can just out-aim everyone, you can win anyway

Naah in pro matches there is not much out aiming as all are pros, at their level util usage and combos is bigger factor so banning agent means banning certain utils so it can be interesting at pro level.

Fair take but I do agree some sort of ban system would spice up the matches a bit. Ascent has had the same meta for years atp. Also out-aiming only works to some degree, even aspas dies when he gets util dumped or when he's swinging into/getting swung into by multiple people. Also not taking into account lurk timings. Some of the best players get shot in the back sometimes. Not much out aiming to do there
