Now that I know this is what he was working on, him playing FragPunk must've been trippy how similar it is with gunplay and its unique format. Both this and FragPunk are gonna be massive; I got 60 hours in FragPunk, only 1 in this since I was busy during the 8 hour test but its so much fun.

I got into the playtest and it was super good!!!! Only 3 people on each team, so your performance have big inpact on the outcome and alot of tactics to be made, i think this is the hardcore tactical FPS fan dream, lets just hope they can nail the matchmaking. Im pumped.

Got a chance to get the access key and to play it this weekend. Super fun even though I'm a FPS newbie! What I really like is that SD has a crew system and crew points. Makes it more friendly competitive, gives you the feeling that you are contributing to the crew by just playing and you also can make friends/stack party so much easier. I just hope BattlePasses are going to be more free-user friendly/affordable (similar to Farlight 84 system and not how Valorant has it). Nonetheless, very fun game with a lot of potential!

I loved the play test. Can't wait for more. Probably going to be my top played fps for years to come (with CS2 and VAL right behind). Also, yeah stop saying games are a copy of something because they are copies. Games copy each other; humans do, business do, music, everything is copied from something whether we like it or not. Who cares, play it or don't. Not every game is made for you. People create projects and ideas to be played or used by that person. I don't care if I make a Backrooms like game and then people go, "Oh it's a copy of the Backrooms". Yeah, I'm inspired by it, so who the fuck cares. Played the stress test and I too feel addicted to it!! I don't even feel like playing any other FPS till the closed beta arrives! xDD The gameplay felt absolutely amazing on my 1060, even tho it listed a 1080 as the minimum required! Fingers crossed I can still play it like I did on future betas and on release! Amazing job guys! And also great job for Tomographic for the amazing video!

When valorant came out it was known as a cs copy with abilities. Some even said it was overwatch and cs. I look forward to playing the game because that second life is like when you make a play for your team and they dont capatilize like you think they would, you can do what you intended to close out.

I absolutely love that people that haven't even had their hands on it yet, are shitting on it lmao. I've played it in the closed testing and it's genuinely not bad at all. The gameplay itself is smooth and feels nice. It's a pretty cool twist on tactical shooters. The only thing I would work on personally is map design. Other than that it feels good and feels like people will love it. Especially coming from CS.

I def have some negative points, i remember shroud saying that first bullet randomness (while completely standing still) shouldnt be a part of a tactical shooter (complained about it in valorant) and now his own game has the same mechanic but even worse, eu queue is very bad, i played 10 matches and almost all matches were full of just russians that refuse to speak english or 1 teammate leaves after the first 2 rounds. I know its in a very early state but having these problems already is concerning

I was quite intimidated by the UI at first because of course it's a bit much for a beginner but watching certain tutorial channels really helps, especially if you have passion. I've been at it for less than 6 months and I could make a somewhat playable game almost by myself without much trouble. Epic games really makes sure to make UE as easy and developer friendly as possible :D Also you mention coding experience, UE has this neat thing called blueprints where you just connect blocks instead of actually writing code, visual coding. Simplifies it tenfold.
