12:25 I gotta tell you man, the unknown here is one of the most fun and conceptually great designs they've been able to come up with. Not only is the unknown creepy, but it's got a whole lore behind it and unpacking it feels like you're investigating some sort of old forgotten urban legend. The only thing that disappointed me about the killer was that the power didn't fit the aesthetics of the killer, but that doesn't matter because his power is fun and fair to both the killer and survivor.

The Unknown's power is supposed to tie into the multiple theories about its origin. Is it an eldritch demon, a serial killer, an alien, a military/government experiment gone wrong? The power is supposed to answer "yes, kinda?" to all of those. We aren't meant to know for certain.

Nah the power makes sense if you watched the teasers, saw his power and his addons. Those hit with the Unknowns venom experience hallucinations, violent behavior, and begin to lose their minds. which is exactly what happens when you get hit with it in game.

Another neat thing about it is between the hallucinations and being weakened to counter the unknown it kinda forces survivors to seek out the unknown. Which i think thematically is very cool because that's exactly what draws its ire

The singularity is one of my favorite killers. It started as a little drone that helps planetary colonizers/researchers in the far future. But then the crystals of an Alien ruin awakens it and gives it sentience, turning it against the crew. The body you see in the trailer is a cyborg one it had constructed using the cloning technology the evil company funding the expedition uses to make cheap labor.

"doomed course" is about two individuals who were literally set on doomed courses for their lives. a bright young girl who was the daughter of a carribean sailor, who had a love of exploration and dogs, doomed by the pirates who seiged their boat and left her stranded on an a strange island where she grew up fighting and surviving against supernatural beings with her loyal dog, snuff. and a girl who was doomed from her very birth into the black talon, a sect of a cult that is extremly prominent in the lore of dbd as worshippers of the entity, the god who runs the trials. she has an unmatched resilience and drive, but also a deep bravery and live of her family, able to go into a rift where her parents where lost without protection and come out unharmed and without any mental damage that is typical of entering the realm. she climbed the ranks using her drive and resilience, and would have become a killer, had she not hesitated stabbing the knife into the man trying to expose her family and her cult. the entity took her at that moment, into the realm, not understanding why she was made into a survivor to be hunted but willing to serve as her god pleases. a girl who was meant to be a survivor, turned into a killer. and a girl who was meant to be a killer, turned into a survivor. this is one of the coolest concepts for a chapter and im a huge fan of it, esoecially taurie the survivor, its such a shame you dont see her in the trailer. you can see her in other promotional videos for doomed course and theyre all so interesting! taurie is such a cool character though i love her so much

Fun note about the Castlevania DLC - They also put in legendary skins for Alucard, Soma Cruz, and Leon Belmont. And some outfits for other survivors as well for some other characters. Now, the remaining moris, including Dracula's True Form cosmetic, which also comes with a new Mori. The Alien chapter comes with a few more cosmetics which include the Alien Queen, the Grid Alien from AVP (which means that at some point, we might get the Predator), Ripley comes with her Aliens and Alien Resurrection look and Astronaut suit. According to DBD roadmap for next year, we are getting FNAF to join all the others, maybe even Friday the 13th.
