For several months I have enjoyed watching the various Japanese children's school bands, and as an old man (78) I too was in tears when I saw how upset the youngsters were in this recording. Sadly in years to come there will be many more sad experiences like this. It is part of life. I would like to thank each and every one of them and wish them every success in their forthcoming examinations and futures. On the bright side every one of them are now expert musicians and will always be able to play their respective instruments far better than I ever can. After they succeed with their education and graduate from their Universities or gain employment and perhaps start family life, if they are still devoted to the love of music, there is no reason why they can't reunite and form young adult bands and play again one day. I for one will be looking forward to seeing them again one day, and until then, there will always be the historical KZbin videos to look back. This has been a long comment on an old recording, but in conclusion, I would like to thank them for making me happy. ARIGATOU GOZAIMASHITA

Mito girls school are one of my favourite school bands, I found this very emotional. Could somebody please, please tell me the reason for the girls being so upset ! They played a wonderful tribute, it was very moving !

My understanding is that this is the last public concert for this particular class. It’s traditional in Japan for those involved in club activities such as “band”, to retire from the club to concentrate all their efforts on their final school exams. These are held around March\April. The next class of new members will probably be introduced to the public in the first concert of the new year.

@@austincummins5779 Thank you Austin , I can appreciate how playing music together for 3 years or so must build a team spirit and suddenly it's time for it to end ! I,ve enjoyed watching this band for while, and you get to know faces and some become favourites. One in particular being the young girl in the blue/purple T-shirt who displays a talent for comedy, ad libbing and engaging with the audience !👍👍👍
