Her hair is unbelievably long because she has never cut her hair in her entire life.

@@yeonice02 흠 강아지가 꼭 눈꼽없이 무조건 청결해야하는건 아니라는 의견도 있죠 강형욱님도 몇달에 한번씩만 씻겨도 문제없다고하셨구, 눈물자국 없고 주인이 이뻐한다 라는건 주인 자기만족이라 할수있을거 같아요. 아무래도 집에서 키워야하니 어느정도 관리가 필요하겠지만 매일 쇼나가는 개처럼 빗질하고 눈꼽띠고 자주 씻기는게 좋다고 생각은 안들어요. 암튼 각자 생각이 다르고 육아하듯이 소신껏 키우는거고 개 성향에 따라서도 다르겠죠?

Best dog companion I’ve ever had was my little Maltese, Roxy. She was my traveling buddy for nearly eighteen years. I lost her to cancer three years ago and I still dream about her and can smell her and feel her in my arms in those dreams and I still cry when I wake up and realize she’s gone. Maltese are wonderful companion dogs for people willing to devote intensive time to training and grooming. They love to be with you wherever you go. Pure love.

When I was 3 my grandfather bought me a Maltese terrier… I named her Cindy and she was the sweetest, dearest little thing ! Although she looked like a little princess with her bow and painted toes she would follow me and my mom around the horses stables , fields and paddocks everyday like a collie. We had many rescue dogs throughout the years.She lived for 18 years . Maltese’s will always have a special place in my heart.

Really, a big round of applause to her humans for keeping her coat in such great condition. We all know she could have been covered in mats all over but no, it looks like they brushed her through everyday. Wow. Absolutely incredible. But she probably feels much better now without all that fur weighing her down. That was A LOT. Definitely enough to make another dog lol.

As soon as he would see us coming with the brush he would immediately lie down to get comfortable and would even fall asleep he loved it so much. We would have to wake him up to roll over onto his back so that we could do his belly. He really was the best first dog.

I think some dogs get depressed when their fur is cut. I have a shih tzu and his coat is exactly like this cutie’s long coat. I brush him everyday. Despite living in Turkey, our vet actually recommends keeping the fur because it’s double coated and keeps him cool in summer/ warm in winter

I kept my shih tzus hair long for a while. It was a traumatic experience for the both of us 😂 knots EVERY DAY! It never ended. Especially since she has allergies and itches it tangles her hair even more. So I cut it to get a break. Maybe I’ll grow it out again one day.

If you take your time introducing your dog to water and being in the bath, with either treats or encuragement, they eventually will be much better to handle for cleaning. My dog is still scared of water but when its time to get a bath, she will huff, and slowly walk inti the bathroom and hop into the tub, she will look sad and whine ocassionally in there but i let her know it will be over soon, and when shes done she runs all around and i play tugg with her cause she is fresh and clean and she did a good job braving the bath.

십 몇년전 초등학교에서 강아지관련 책에서 이렇게 털 기른 말티즈의 사진을 보고 세상에서 제일 예쁘다고 생각했었어요! 강아지를 키우면 꼭 말티즈를 키우겠다고 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 이런 풀콧 말티즈는 진짜 오랜만에 보내요 견주님께서 얼마나 정성으로 관리하셨을지가 보이네요!!

Good job by care taker of this dog , dogs are lucky nowadays, because so many parents avoided by their children, nobody care his parents but care pets , why they do this , it’s good that u care about pets but first of all ur duty to care urs parents or any poor peoples who need urs help , So pls help those people too . 👍
