Food for thought: One of the subtle effects of the year 1979 in India, was also the rise of orthodoxy in Indian Muslim society; before 1980s, most of the popular progressive heriones in Bollywood were mainly Muslims, be it from Madhubala, Nargis, Meena Kumari era, followed by Zeenat Aman, Shabana Azmi era.. but post 1980s, very few muslim women came into the Bollywood industry as mainstream actresses.

India and China: Discord at birth 1. Heterogeneous Vs homogeneous 2. Democracy vs communist state 3. Ideals of Gandhian non violence vs Mao Zedong (power flows from the barrel of the gun) But similar past (civilizational states) and present challenges: Illiteracy, poverty, hunger - gave birth to contestation of who dons the cap of Boss of Asia; Nehru at the helm, India's role in Korean crisis, added fuel to the fire

China has 22 provinces And 5autonomous region 1- Guangxi 2- Tibet 3- Xinjiang 4- Ningxia 5- Inner Mangolia They have different cultures and traditions and they are located on the border of country It has two special administrative region 1- Hong Kong 2- Maccaui It is governed by one country two system ( self government , different flag , different currency ) Problem start from here Xinjiang already have muslim problem they are have not equal right 2- Tibet problem 3- Hong Kong problem It can more be more worrisome issue for China because it is not a democratic state and that is why it may fail to convince its people International treat for problem South China sea disputes. 2-Growing Russia's corporation with Indonesia and Philippines If we see from economic perspective then China is transforming it economy moving from manufacturing sector to service sector And for this it requires large market In past years year China's economic structure has shifted dramatically from excessive reliance on smaskestack manufacturing industries to low - carbon services. And that is why now China is leading in embracing non - carbon renewable such as wind , solar and geothermal biomass .In 2018 China's renewable consumption was 38 percent larger than that in US and triple that of Germany . In what sense China needs India With south Chian sea disputes and growing influence of world power in Indian Ocean region China needs to find alternative to Malacca straits which is life line for east Asian And that is why China proposed BCIM ( under BRI project) corridor with this China can easily bypass Malacca straits Future scenario In short term it there can be economically slowdown but in long term it can be world leading power with its ambitious project BRI Challenges Its region problem can compell to think whether China can be a good friend or not ( example Maldives present government more align towards India ) It is non democratic country , large corruption , and not a good credentials in the world In recent Russia support J and K abrogation but China not but they are friend so it know present world order 2-

Strategic guidance Both civilization states Large demographies, that have retained continuity from the past(India,China) Other civilization all have discontinued Both have experience of colonialism, subjected to trauma. China recreated Maritime Tradition. Departure of India-China started from 1950. No. Of dissonances,India product of partition. China unique kind is homogeneity Han people are the majority of china.China geography made china history. China's large province, have less population. Power of state comes from the gun.
