I was 9 the last time I watched this anime and I loved this song back then . I didn't know what's this anime name is and I've been looking for the "sauce" for twelve years. This song makes me feel calm too, but in a sad way that at times it will bring me to tears, and at first I didnt want Rin to end up with Asa..But i understand though, Asa and I had some things in common, just not magical. Yet when she finally healed herself, thats when i my heart sank down. Then i realized that we had nothing in common anymore..^_^ but thats ok, because i know one day i will get better like her one day..soon...

Around the time Primula got sick is when it started to get real. It seems as though just about everyone had some sort of split personality. (Even though Kaede didn't have an actual split personality she may as well have when her dark side came out) But Lisianthus had Kikyou and Narine had Lycoris. It got real sad and depressing when all the back stories started to surface. It would seem with all of them trying to win over Rin that Asa is the true best choice. Continued>

Asa wasn't trying to win his love, she was just patient and acted completely natural. Everyone else's feelings seemed to be generic. Not to say they couldn't have had real feelings for Rin, it just seems as though they were trying too hard. This anime definitely had a twist I didn't see coming. Was expecting it to stay corny and lame but it got really interesting. So those of you giving this a chance, watch it through to the end before you judge! I don't think you'll be disappointed. Wasn't expecting Kaede to have such a backstory. She was only there, in reality, because of her overwhelming guilt, and only "loved" Rin when he left her for someone else. Being unable to have forgiveness is what led to her psychopathic behavior? It just started getting really bad near the end. And when Rin decided to leave her, I was *shocked*. These anime's almost always end with the one you most expect. Good anime, though. I really enjoyed the plot twist, even if the plot was kinda' weak.

Yep but the thing is that it gives me a child hood vibe, then the last 12 episodes happen first premula wasn't real so that was sad but then again not really, the only real thing that was shocking was assua and kaede backstory and those where the things that made the anime sad but in the end It's going to happen to premula if there was a second season.

Ok, I must admit when I first started watching this anime I wasn't sure I wanted to finish. (This has only happened once since I've been watching anime so far) But I'm so glad I didn't cut it short and gave it a chance and watched it to the end. @sparton1172000 Elfen Lied is amazing. It's just like you said, it's a drama with lots of saddness and depression. It's also filled with a lot of action. Ga-Rei Zero is also very action packed and has a twist and may make you cry a lot. Blassreiter is a dramatic mess, very depressing and sad and has all the drama and action you could ask for. Seriously, it's worth checking out. Claymore is also pretty good...but hard to follow all the characters if you don't watch it a few times over.

Rin met young Sia (8 years before the anime and game are set) and they hung out, cant remember exactly what they did, and it started to rain so Sia hid under something at the park and Rin found an old umbrella to keep Sia from the rain, while he was getting wet because of the tear in the umbrella, so she liked how kind he was.
