How do people lose their accents when they sing? It absolutely floors me! LOL.

They don't lose their accents. They put an accent on. Mostly when people sing American-style blues or rock, they tend to approximate an American accent. This has been going to on for a while. Mick Jagger has been singing with a sort of generic southern American accent since the 60s.

@@ajkgordon I get that. I was just speaking in general terms. I understand because I can sing in an British accent on certain songs. But there are some people that I have met being involved in the International Blues Challenge, that can't speak English at all, but they can sing in English perfectly. It just amazes me.
