I'm going to be honest. I used to really enjoy shuffling for years before you guys released Party Rock several years ago. After that, the term "shuffling" became synonymous with the stuff on this video in lieu of any real shuffling. So I stopped altogether. I might get back into it if I ever move to Australia, but who the hell knows how old I'll be by then.

The original shuffling dance was invented in the late 80's to early 90's during the rave seen. This is a more simplified, no effort, shuffle that people get very confused with when they see the original shuffling.
