Tbh, furball would make for a great assist trophy if anything. Think about it, you summon her, time freezes, and she uses a random brush technique. i.e. Spawning a giant firework bomb, blowing your competitors off the stage, slashing through the middle of the stage, planting a tree that shoots opponents upwards etc.

I like this song not only for the fact of how awesome it sounds, but how creatively they used the instruments. Everything is timed just perfectly, and comes in carrying its own melody. By the end of the song, there's an entirely different feel. There are parts that feel energetic, hopeful, and even sad, still using the same instruments. That's pretty awesome to be in one song, if you ask me.

Definitly one of the best fighting songs ever, it just has so chaos imbedded into it. As for this "wig debate" that seems to be going on, maybe he just wanted to hide his blonde hair, wasn't that a trademark of the moon tribe? Wait a second, if you haven't gotten past Sei-an city don't read any further. But Kaguya(bamboo girl) has blonde hair too, and she had a spaceship. Do you think she was a member of the Waka's tribe too? That'd be one crazy twist! XD

I'm pretty sure it's confirmed by the game that both Waka and Kaguya are members of the Moon Tribe. Whether or not they're from the same family, clan, or whatever, is up for debate.

This is a super old comment, but it's mentioned in the complete works artbook that Waka hid his hair because he was the last survivor of the Ark of Yamato genocide, and Yami was searching for him the whole time. So he had to try and hide his identity while waiting for Amaterasu to return.

Okami is a ancient japanese folklore kinda watercolor asthetic sorta game. Waka is a british (french in the american and og version) moon sultier who plays the flut and fits in perfectly...until he pulls his laser swort. He has an ancient japanese katana and a god danmed laser swort. And I can not stress this enogh...he fights you...with BOTH!

+david e I know! I nearly rage quit, thinking he was an actual boss who was way too hard. Then I finally beat him and took him out my first try the second time you battle. Waka will have a place in my heart for being one of the hardest battles I ever dealt with for some reason.

+david e It's probably because Waka is the first enemy with whom you HAVE to strategize a little to make the battle easy. Until that point, you can beat pretty much any enemy with no problem regardless of how you approach them.

david e Best strategy is to keep him at bay once you get the prayer beads. I hate using the shield for its short range and the glaives because it takes a second to start up, leaving you vulnerable. I may or may not have used golden rage on him a couple times.

DarkMagolor Even then considering what I know about how well okami sold, a remake is just not feasible. Okami sold only just over a million units across three consoles over the course of seven years. Most AAA titles sell that much in just over four months. A remake of okami just wouldn't sell.
