SHUN SATO SUPER FAN “Libertine Tango” 2023 Skate America Offical Practice

Shun Sato, the 2023 Four Continents bronze medalist from Japan, delivered a strong performance in the short program at 2023 Skate America. He scored a new personal best of 91.61 points, landing a quad toe-triple toe and triple Axel, with level 4 spins and footwork.[1] However, Sato struggled in the free skate, stepping out of some quads and putting his foot down on a quad toe-double toe combination. He landed five clean triple jumps including two triple Axels but looked fatigued towards the end.[1] Despite the mistakes, Sato finished third overall with 247.50 points, securing the bronze medal.[2] He enjoyed working with Guillaume Cizeron on his new free skate and aims to be in better shape for his next Grand Prix event in Espoo, Finland.[1]

Shun Sato super fan here 🙋🏻‍♀️Thanks for sharing this clip! It’s refreshing to see his routine from a totally different angle since it’s usually filmed from the judges’ side. And it’s amazing to see so many fan cam clips in your channel! It’s great to know there are enthusiastic fans like you who support figure skating and at the same time I’m so jealous!

Its nice to know that other people also enjoy the clips, we (me Kate Robin and Karen) just take them because we enjoy skating so much, and there is so much in the programs and there are so many fantastic skaters that need to be showcased --- so much to love-- as I go through our clips it is very interesting , I agree to see the programs from different sides, I often see things as I rewatch that I had not noticed --- skating is such an amazing sport-- thank so much for taking the time to watch Shun Sato and any other clips and spending the time to comment as well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
