It's Squirtle Community Day classic! We go out on the hunt to get our hands on Shundo with Sunglasses! We managed to do a TON of research & we got some great stuff!

Same I was grinding for an hour and a half trying to get a shiny sunglasses. I got one thankfully near the end of the event and ended up snagging a normal shundo squirtle which was the first shundo I won

I grinded for 3 hours for the shiny sunglasses squirtle and I didn’t get it😭 I also didn’t get any hundos or a Shundo. So I was pretty disappointed. Because where I live sucks for Pokémon go😢

This com day was, by far, my most successful. I got a hundo sunglasses squirtle, and a two star shiny sunglasses. I’m quite pleased.

I have to agree, I wasn’t even this lucky during the axew community day. But I got 14 shiny squirtle, one being my first shundo and the other being a decent shiny sun glasses one. I tried farming for the shundo glasses but only had an hour and a half to try.

Only got 2 sunglasses Squirtle with bad IVs. But did get 9 shinies Squirtle. Hatched a shiny Pancham. Caught a shiny Skorupi at the end of the Squirtle event. And a shiny Absol as I was leaving the area.

I actually grinded super hard this event and somehow got lucky enough to get FOUR hundo sunglasses Squirtles. I made them a specific tag called "Squirtle Squad."

My favorite part about this community day was the fact that no one really played it for the community day but for the research so it was really a research day lmao. I ended up with 19 shinies and 7 shiny squirtle squad!!

This was a really good CDC for me, especially since I didn't start doing cdays until the Beldum* one and missed the first one. 26 shinies total (19 regular and 7 with 😎 [got two back to back!], did around 65-70 tasks [also I had no idea until now you could check the # of tasks you've done via medal]. Best regular shiny was only 78% but my best sunglasses shiny was an 89, 15-10-15 IVs). Jumped into a mega raid right when I got to the park I always play at for comm days and ended up with a 96% party hat Blastoise with HC, and later I overheard some guys near me talk about a wild hundo Squirtle nearby and I managed to catch that as well, not shiny though. (One of the guys in the group got the shundo) Also apparently I'd quick-caught ANOTHER wild hundo that I didn't even know about until after midnight lol, so I gotta wait until December to evolve that one. *side note: I really want a Beldum CDC bc I only got one shiny on that day and it's a 53% lol, and my full-odds Beldum shiny luck is terrible

I focused on wild spawn shundo hunting and lucked out within the first hour on my fourth hundo checked. Was quite hyped as I only had about two hours worth that I could play before I had to head back home. Completely the Kanto trip shundo set for me though 🤘 Charizard and Venusaur I've had lvl50 maxed but sadly I wasn't able to play long enough yesterday to get the amount of XL candy I still needed to 50 max the Blastoise 🥲 first world problems lol

I did not get a shundo Squirtle at all but right before the event started, I shiny checked a shoomish and it turned out to be shiny. I was pretty happy with just that but I checked the IVs and it was a nundo! So I now have a shnundo breloom

I really actually got the chance to grind the field research for squirtle with sunglasses and I did so many but I eventually got the shiny sunglasses made me so happy poopie IVs but still happy. Most eventful community day that I have ever had and after community day me and my husband did a raid and I got my very first shiny moltres and it was my second moltres raid!! Finally got my team bird. I got shiny Articuno the day before

Was able to get a 3 star shiny sunglasses squirtle within the last few minutes of the event and I only did less than 10 researches, but I was able to get 4 shiny regular squirtles since I didn’t have the evolution line before, only a shiny party hat squirtle which I got this past year, so overall more shinies to add to the collection

I had a blast with this community day 🎉 🎉. I got myself a shiny costume Pikachu (with the cake hat) before the event even started. I caught myself 14 shiny Squirtles (evolved 2 of them into blastoise) and a wild normal shundo Squirtle. Missed out on getting the sunglasses Squirtle though 😢.

I played in 2018, so having to work yesterday was ok. I played my half hour lunch break and got 10 shinies (one with the glasses) and two hundos (one with the glasses!). I popped off unintentionally lol!

When you’re only able to use an incense and that’s it, even driving there are no stops around. I only got one research, got a three star sunglasses squirtle. Got quite a few sparkly squirtle, so that’s something.

Not sure if you’ve been grinding trades but with the guaranteed XL candy this season and increased lucky odds for the event I’ve tried trading a lot. Got 2 lundo party hat squirtles and a lundo torchic. Hopefully you can mirror some of the shiny sunglasses squirtles to get a lundo too!

Yes you can only be in three showcases. And it’s been confirmed by Niantic that they are aware of the bug that if you are currently in three, you can NOT switch out your Pokémon for a better one. They said that fix will be out with the next update. If you are in two showcases, it works like normal.

I find it hilarious that all my hundo blastoises are sunglasses 😂 got 2 hundo research hundos and 4 shines. Enjoyed it. I hope if and when they do a sandile cd, i hope they do the sunglasses treatment with him as i know he wears them in the show
