There are instructions on the app that tell you which button to press to skip tracks. Next song: double press centre button. Previous song: triple press centre button.

Yep, there was. But not sure if it was my model here, but it wouldn't work with my phone or Spotify. Middle button just kept pausing and unpausing music.

I wonder if aonic 40 or cleer enduro would be the better choice ❓ for music & ANC

I've not personally tried the Enduros but the Aonic 40s were superb for me.

What functions work in wired mode? Does noice cancelling and microphone (calls) work in wired mode?

Will this be good for gaming sound ?
@TechNuovo2 жыл бұрын
I never tested for gaming unfortunately so couldn't say definitively, but I would say it could still sound decent. They're a great set of headphones.

Does this have the same issue as the aonic 50 in which background noises are amplified during calls?

How would these compare to Sennheiser PXC-550 ii?

I wasn’t interested in these at all when shopping for headphone, and even remember watching this review. But after trying so many I ended up falling in love with these. I was so desperate just to get decent sounding audio. I wanted to like the Bose QC45 after spending all that money on them, but the audio sounded so low quality and I just gave up. The Sony didn’t sound that much better than the Bose. Anyways once I tried these Shure headphones I realized exactly what I’d been missing. These sound close to good wired headphones. Oh and what is up with the Shure Aonic 50? They sound really bad. Decent neutral audio profile but it sounds small and distant, like a tiny driver or something. Anyways thanks for reading! Just felt compelled to comment after all this trial and error!

Essentially a downgraded Aonic 50 with better niche features for a price difference of 50 dollars. Anyone considering this might as well get a secondhand Aonic 50 for 150 dollars than spend 250 on something that is inferior compared to products from the last decade.

Thanks for letting us know. Unfortunately we've not had any hands on time with Aonic 50s but it's something we're looking into. Thanks for checking out the content 👍

I had the 50s, really liked them, and yeah they go for $150-$200 used/open box all the time on ebay. However they had an app which provided an EQ but would only work for local music on the device, meaning it couldn't work with Spotify, etc... but ultimately wasn't the worst issue because I really like the default sound of the 50s, but if the 40s' EQ works outside the app, then that may make it a more versatile headphone with many of the same benefits of the 50.

@@cinemapigeon4898 That has changed now and you can use equalizer with all the streaming services.

@@dariuszwojcik1601 Yes, I'm super happy about that, and I have some Shure Aonic 50s on the way, white ones. My current wireless headphone is the B&O Beoplay H95, $800 headphone. It's pretty amazing, said to be the best wireless headphone, buuuuut, I think the Shure Aonic 50 with the EQ may come close or even match it, at least in some areas, making the H95 a terrible value.
