The Shure has a nicer sound to it. As an engineer and singer I would recommend the Shure MV7. Hands down one of the best.

You should do MV7 vs Yeti X! I want an Mv7 but no one is comparing those two. Also the Logi G Hub and Blue Sherpa are the Blue software systems

@@kennethadams9322 there's a lot that depends on and the kind of sound you are going for. My MV7 sounds better than my Yeti X ever did unless I am doing a podcast with someone else in the room.

the advantage of the capacitive control is no noise when using. The part when you say "This is the blue Yeti without processing - it would be better if you gave us a few seconds of silence to evaluate the background noise.

if u hear no difference its because either you're on your phone or your headset sucks, i watched this on my iphone 13 and heard no difference but i came home and watched it on my pc and i can hear the difference clearly

Andrew, question... Is there a USB mic that sounds closest to a Rode ProCaster? I'm making video and definitely want the mic out of the video, so it seems that requires a USB/ condenser mic. I'm just tortured cuz I love the sound of a Rode ProCaster. -- Your videos have been massively educational (and funny!) for me. Thank you!!!

If you don't have enough for the blue compass or it's too big for your desk the Samson mba 28 is a really good boom arm for the yeti it holds up really well

the blue yeti which i own it terrible. picks up every noise, background noise is awful and it changes your voice and makes you sound like you are slightly robotic.

I've checked Blue's site and I do not see FREE software anywhere. Granted there seem to be better free sound production software available online elsewhere the point here is the Shure MV7 has FREE plug and play easy setup software for free with the mic. I only see the Yeti Pro, mind you for $20 more, coming with any production software
