A shuriken is typically a variation. You perform an outside crescent kick then proceed to land on that kick. A shuriken cutter is just a shuriken but you add a hyperhook (or another outside crescent). It’s called cutter due to the fact that it’s a cork. If it were a full, it would be called shuriken hyper hook.
