Hey shurk I though ht id just tell you that I absolutely love your music, I found you through markiplier and was so happy I did because your music is like a fountain of imagination and emotion (I know that sounds weired just roll with it) and everytime I listen I can think up a story or a kind of music video to go with it and its just the best and when you put a story behind it its even better because I can envision what you were envisioning. I agree with you entirely that a narrative aspect to a song really heightens the general experience for the listener - it gives them an emotional attachment to the song, or at least something to remember it by. My favourite example of this is probably Nero's album, 'Welcome Reality', which effectively explores a concept of a post apocalyptic world, ravaged by war but being rediscovered by explorers.

Loving the mental image that I can conjure up through this particular song. The lights are flashing, the gold scissors are brought out, and then captain falcon punches the mayor in the face. Strange energy is detected by a marauding team of scientists, who complain of the strangeness of this energy. Well, besides captain falcon, I think everything resolves quite nicely for the time being.

I love how he puts the emotions of the situation into the song, like this it feels like something different, something new is being explored. The 2nd song sounds like the chaos of someone poor suddenly being thrown into riches. The third sounds like everything is calming down and everyone is returning to their mundane life, but still changed by the Cosmic Casino.

I've learned through the listening to these songs. Each one of the different background pictures means a different kind of sound in the music. Think about it, the set Haunted came in, and the set Nemesis came in, each have a different sound and feel to it. And personally, that's what sets shirk apart from Monstercat, and all the rest of the groups. Keep it up shirk, and I'll be waiting for your next song to come out on ITunes!

Really great track, man. I can picture myself watching all the goings on in the casino, I guess on opening night. Although the "Falcon Punch" doesn't seem to fit in with the theme. But hey, it's your music, and you probably know what you're doing a lot more than I would. Also, I'm sure you did research on it before you included it, but I'm surprised that there's no copyright on the use of "Falcon Punch". I thought Nintendo would own the rights to it. I'm gonna be honest, I, like some, found you through Markiplier. God, I thought, this guy's a game changer! Then Nemesis like Jesus Holy Balls this is amazing. Probably because I could relate to it, and the almost cynical descriptions really added flare to the song as you've said in a reply I think. The Cosmic Casino songs are great and have your trademark "sounds" lol but I didn't feel the vibes as much as Nemesis..well not like I went through a gambling addiction to relate to.....yet hahaha regardless it's all great work and I'm glad you're back!
