Wow. New song from Bin. It's been a long time. The song is really amazing. It's relaxing yet it's like burning from inside. I think the music is being played through Shamisen, which really puts so much feels in it. I always adored traditional instruments, so I always loved it when it is used.

今回の曲のテーマは信仰、かな。「シャンバラ」「まだら（まんだら）」「神様」「仏」など宗教的な歌詞があり、コーラスや和楽器からは民族的な雰囲気を感じる。「王様」ともあるし、宗教的な信仰だけではなく、自分が絶対的な力があると信じているものについての広義的な「信仰」を歌った曲だと思う。 次に「待ちぼうけ」の方にも触れると、曲のタイトル「シュシュタイト」とも関連性がある。シュシュタイトは守株待兎 という中国の説話のこと。農民の男性が株に兎がぶつかって死に食事にありつけた、またその偶然を信じて株を守り続けたが兎がぶつかることはなかったという内容。この説話から作られた童謡が「待ちぼうけ」。 「信仰」と「待ちぼうけ」がどのように関連してるのかというと、信仰している人々は不確かで見たこともない存在を信じ信仰対象が自分を救ってくれるという偶然を待ちぼうけしているということ。 動画の青年は「あなた」が生贄として焼かれて今まで待ちぼうけしていたことへのなんとなくの疑問が確信に変わり、救いも神もいないと絶望して信仰を捨てた、と個人的に思っています。
