For any viewers still confused by the ending... ***SPOILERS*** ***SPOILERS*** ***SPOILERS*** ***SPOILERS*** ---------------------------------------- The first message is meant to read as "EnD Of LIFE" and the second message is "ThE End" I thought everyone would be able to read it but is definitely not the case. I blame it on me staring at the same words for way too long trying to come up with different variations that it seemed obvious to me. I seriously should've gotten second opinions before finalizing. But oh well, maybe next time...

The implication is that there's a widespread influx of the...things. Given that they're clearly not human and the message was in the skies, are they meant to be invading aliens? The long claws, misshapen head, and heightened hearing makes me think of the Death Angels from A Quiet Place.

Absolutely great job! Couldn't read the message at the end, but I was able to go thru the comments and find out. This short kept my eyes glued to the screen. It peaked my interest, and I was filled with suspense throughout. I hope to see more from you.

This was a brilliant movie…original concept, lots of mystery to keep one guessing, amazing acting, and that entity 😱 the absolute stuff of nightmares. Perfect amount of scary with a nondescript body and THE CLAWS OF A THOUSAND NIGHTMARES!!! Omg that was like Predator, Cloverfield, Alien, and the terrifying creatures that snatched up poor souls who made a sound…..all rolled up into ONE. And without needing to see details. Less is more in this case, and the gray body blended in with the shadows was so perfect. My mind left for a minute to protect itself. 😂 I think because this is something you might imagine you saw in the dark but then talked yourself out of it. The clicking sounds of the claws and the other noises…if there is a category for best enemy or most terrifying entity or whatever, it belongs to you, man! You have a gift, so use it! I look forward to seeing more from you!

Thanks! I seriously appreciate it! Pretty much the only thing easier directing myself is I don’t have explain anything to myself. But I still have to do numerous takes for each scene because acting is difficult for me lol So the time involved probably evens out, directing myself who can’t act vs directing someone else who can act

Thank you so much for creating this short, i really enjoy the watching. As the message arrived with upside down, i was confused, because i haven't enough time to try the words in another direction, because the story went on, but at the end i went back to the part and the first was meant to be "end of life", with the last word i had my difficulties to read it, but with enough fantasy i create an "the end" out of it and i laughed because of the humour in it^^ first, the end is near and then the end is here^^ Great movie, i have to go to bed after writing this comment and i have no idea how i will be able to manage this, without turning the lights on, i don't wanna wake up somebody, but i don't wanna walk with my handy light either.....that's a dilemma^^ Anyway, this one was a great short with an interesting little story and a good actor!!!

yeah it started creepy enough but just ended confusing. it needed a little more exposition on what 3nzzd is supposed to even mean. the climax of the story shouldn't end on a confusing note, but one of awful, and unambiguous, clarity and horror.

**SPOILER ALERT** I spotted that almost immediately, where there appears to be the “rotated” writing in the sky: “END OF LIFE” is rotated 90° clockwise two times so that it appears the way that it does in the night sky. Fairly obvious if you ask me.

So, its driving me nuts, because the two messages upside down are very obvious, and looking at your comments, you seem to only confirm those two, but i swear they also say something right side up... The first one to me lioks as if it says, "Puzzle" or couid even be a date "3722AD" (March 7th 2022 AD, or i guess if yer from the UK it would be July 3rd 2022, which seems to make more sense seeing as this video was posted BEFORE the 2nd version). I felt like ot was supposed to be both since it kind of IS a puzzle, and then also the date that the invasion happens. But its the 2nd message thats killing me... Right side up, i cant really make out the first word, if that even is only the first word, but it looks to me like "_____ to give" or even "______ clue". Please, for the sake of my sanity, PLEASE tell me im not just looking to hard into it and then tell me the answer! 🤣😭

And I was completely confused why you mentioned that date, so I scoured through it to see if it was showing somewhere, but then I realized lol The last message doesn’t say 3722AD, it’s supposed to say “The End”, inspired by Peter Newell’s ambigram of the same words

Well I’m glad you at least enjoyed the first half! lol But those questions are actually answered. The first message turned upside down tells us why they are here, the main character’s last shirt suggests they might be aliens, and the last message actually doesn’t say 3rzznd, it says “the end”
