I love the "Weird Rubber Thing (work it out)" song! My favorite part of this whole video which is crazy because I love the entire video! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤭

I agree! I laughed so hard, my dog woke up from her nap and gave me the stink eye! 🤣😂😅🤣 BTW, I thought the weird rubber thing might be water condensation line for the AC unit. 🤔

I agree with another comment that your bus, build, and videos are the gold standard. My husband and I are in these first foundation stages of our conversion and soooooo appreciate your hard learned lessons. Thank you for sharing and good luck with everything.

We soooo appreciate your high quality build videos! Hubby and I are just starting to remove the seats out of our 2005 E350 shuttle bus. We are both in our 60s and do NOT want to undo our build to repair something that could have been addressed prior. BTW, we are also musicians and are happily anticipating taking our music on the road in the near future. Thank you ever so much for all your precious time and effort to share this journey with us! Much love to you both! Anita and Rick

Excellent advise on the windows, love the spacer fix. Definitely worth the effort to remove, refurbish and reinstall one window at a time! Rock on!

i will be starting my shuttle bus conversion august 1st 2021. very soon. Your bus is amazing and the Gold standard for Shuttle buses. I also do woodworking. Ive been researching the windows. I will be removing and resealing. All you used is Butal tape? i appreciate the one-window-at-a-time . My bus is fiberglass. thank you so much.

I just started my conversion a couple weeks ago. It is also fiberglass and plywood under window casings. If I didn’t see this I could have ran into a lot of headaches!

Great and very informative vids! Every time you mention a product, I pause the video, make a note of the product and go look for it, check out manufacturer's info and videos and where I can get them over here in the UK... Your vlogs are a real resource and study for me! So, thanks for your videos! Love 'em! :)

We’re so happy we can help! We link most of the Amazon available products we use in our builds here: www.amazon.com/shop/ourwaytoroam. However I’m so not sure if that link works internationally not!

@@OurWayToRoam this link is a life saver!!! TY!!! I am having trouble sealing windows in my (97) transit bus project and I couldn't see what the butyl tape thickness was. I have 3/32"*1/2" rolls local at home Depot but they are not thick enough the seal. I stacked 2 layers today and we'll see how it seals after a day of sitting. The frames are so thin that they are easily stripped by screws and I am having the most trouble trying to get even pressure around the window to start a good seal. I am thinking to keep stacking butyl or get the rope kind. Anyway sorry for the book, you guys keep rocking!!

You both deserve a tv show (assuming that’s a good gig nowadays). Hands down. You’re hard work and attention to detail and video production is top notch - “best in class”. I’m not proud of this but I’m generally annoyed with people in my middle age (I’m workin on it). I only say this to explain that I’m a consumer with a few extra Pennie’s to spend and I would trust whatever you are marketing. Not that you want to be marketeers; you are talented musicians but just sayin. It’s so rare and you seem genuinely invested in what’re you do. Thank you so much!

Drew/Savannah bus build coming along. So many windows will give awesome views. What is your expected build out timeline...another 8-12 weeks? I suppose music venues will open again? Mr Comedian Drew probably is fun on music stage...lol Be safe 😎

Drew & Savannah, like my late Grandpa Paw Paw use to say when I was a young boy, he would say, "Tommy as long as you have a good roof on any home you have in life is solid, you can do anything to the build inside & if the roof is not good you will destroy all you have done inside without a good sealed roof". This has stayed with me through out my whole life in restoring 7 homes I have lived in my journey. I applied this logical gift he gave me in my youth to Windows also. Your vision advise is solid. always, Tommy :-)

Another great build video. I felt the same way about my box truck build. When I put in the roof vents it was like "ok, this is starting to look like a house and not an industrial truck." Recently I did the interior walls (much slower timeline then you guys, cause stage managing a show right now). And REALLY feels like I did something to make it a house now. But it took 3 months to get here going solo with help where I can get it. foundation work is worth it.

Thank you for all the details this will save me a ton of time building out my 2011 Starcraft. I have been to the Starcraft factory in Goshen, Indiana to pick up a bus a few years ago. They were geared for fast production as opposed to quality and the windows seem to be their weaker point on mine as well. I will be interested to see how you handle the electrical panel above the drivers seat, since there is so much going into that panel.

Thanks so much for sharing! I am kinda in a lag but close to when you guys are in my build! I’m done with insulation now & need to install my vent fan & sunroof...so you have inspired me to press on! I think it’s this southern 90degree heat that’s got me stalling out!🥵 I liked building much better in the cool weather! Ps. My tip for getting ceiling insulation to stay up was I used a type of heat resistant caulk but while it had to cure I used hot glue to get an instant hold!

I am so appreciative of how clear and informative your build videos are - sadly, I already put the Henry's on my bus roof before my fans, and at least I won't compound that mistake by trying to get the sealant to stick to it. I also have a leaky front seam that will require scraping before I apply the sealing tape. Gratitude for sharing all of this information!

Awesome guys! I watched week 6 & we are prepping for the ceiling. How did you do the wiring for the fans? We went w the maxx air 7500 mainly for the rain shield. We live in Hawaii & rain is real during wet season. I have read some reviews where the Maxx Air fan has issues w the 12v. Any thoughts…?

It never occurred to me to put all the attachments on the roof BEFORE the Henry"s roof coat. I thought it would be easier to paint before the attachments, but now I see the seal could be compromised by the roof coat. Thanks for the info! -@Trixie.the.Schoolie

Not to be too critical because I believe you guys did an awesome job, but would it be feasible to mount your vertical supports on the side of the bus where the side walls meet the roof? Other than aesthetics I think it would look okay. Love your videos!

Hey guys I saw in your shopping list you have three sizes of marine wire. I don’t think I need to go crazy in my shuttle bus and get one size for everything. Can you confirm if 14g is good enough if I go like 8-10 feet from battery bank?
