I went to a quilt store and the woman I talked to had no idea what I was talking about. So I may need to make my own or order them on line. Thank you for the information

I replied to your comment a couple of days ago, but I'm not sure what happened as it's still here...without my reply! Anyway, I had suggested looking in a store that carries cross stitch and embroidery kits as these cards are normally used to store embroidery thread. I'm not surprised that a quilting store didn't know what they are. I hope that helps! 🙂

My joining picot gauge is a partially straightened large paperclip. The kind with the plastic coating. Cheap, plentiful, and easily replaced. I can also clip it to my sleeve or neckline in between elements. 😊

What sizes do you make? Metric or English measurements? Thanks i am ready to make my own set.
@NooBearAus

I make both metric and imperial as smaller measurements are easier to mark in mm, larger measurements are easier (and more accurate) to mark in inches - eg 5/8" = 15.8mm!

Thanks so much!! What size crochet hook do you use in tatting??
@NooBearAus
@NooBearAus 3 жыл бұрын
Ooh, I've just given you the link to this video when I answered your last question! haha. I shouldn't have started at the bottom of the comments! The size of my crochet hook depends on the size of thread I am using. For a S30 or S40 thread I use a .6mm hook. Sometimes I use a 1mm
