I worked for Firehouse. My brother in law was the events coordinator at the auditorium for years ! Yes I worked for many interesting stars. My favorite is probably Willie Nelson. He kissed my hand and you know he stayed until after 2: AM on the bus greeting his fans and signing autographs. I knew I was working for someone special. Luther Vandross Julio Iglesias the Judds Alabama a few Christian artists Michael W Smith, Toby Mac with DC Talk at the time. I could go on ! Always respectful and respected in return. I have not heard this song for a long time, and I am thrilled that you decided to cover it. It is nice to see someone in your generation that can appreciate a group like Firehouse, and do such a fantastic cover of their song.
