Andy deserves 10 x the subscribers that he has. His level of detail and accuracy along with his knowledge and teaching ability is absolutely unparalleled. Sadly, which is probably the reason he doesn’t have more subs. Too many people want the down and dirty versions of these songs, instead of the right way. I’ll stick with this channel, nobody does it better. Thanks Andy!

You are a fine teacher and such pleasant company of an evening when the family are away to bed and I can get my guitar out. Wishing you good health sir. Oh and I made a donation too yesterday. Everyone should if they are getting something from these tutorials. C'mon loyal subscribers! If Andy can't work just now he can't earn so I'm sure even the smallest of donations would be welcome

Thank you for doing this one. Simple but tricky to hear with all of those layers - you nailed it. Speaking of which, if you ever do Don Felder's 'All Of You' that would be amazing. It's a similar song in that it's difficult to transcribe because of all the layers. Rock on, dude!

Eighties early Rock is synonymous w/Billy Squire. There was a lot of great Hard Rock and Rock music of the early 80's (pre-1986) - I would say between mid/late 82 to late 1985 , it was a great time for the genres. 1983-84 was the height of that time, IMO - a lot of great music / albums came out at that time. MTV was actually watchable and actually had great music on it. Squire's first 3 major label albums are classics, the layering approach was heavily characteristic of his music - Walkman music, as I like to call it. Emotions In Motion and Signs Of Life : 2 GREAT ALBUMS.

I'm curious about your Kemper. I own and have owned dozens of amps, SS/Tube, dozens of pedals, multi pedals, HD500 Line 6, M80 Boss, and just bought a Katana and i cannot get the sound you get from the Kemper. Is it the Kemper or is it just finding the right patches that gives the authentic sounds of old marshals? p.s. i have all the usual popular guitars also...

The clarity and the minute details of guitar teachings are awesome! I wonder what software or apps you use to remove vocals and instrument (like guitar) every time you play demo from original music track. I like to perform in live settings and it's interesting for me to learn your quality teachings. Thank you for providing this information.

So true..although other than the first few bars of my demo which I played at 137bpm, the rest was locked to 131. No matter how good a drum program is though, it pales to good drummer, and it won't protect you if a fight breaks out in the bar! On the up side, it plays what you want and doesn't argue! Cheers, Andy.

Someone upgraded his lighting!..hang on a sec, ..:::grabs sunglasses:::... Great job as usual. Definitely the BEST guitar lesson channel I've seen so far. Love how you minimize distraction by wearing all black against a black backdrop putting all the focus on your hands and guitar. Very smart. You even use the same guitar for all the electric parts & the same guitar for all the acoustic ones. Which of course peeks my interest, and this may have been asked before so I apologize for any redundancy, about what type of guitar collection you've acquired over the years? You must have more than 2...? 🤔

Anybody pay money to see this God's gift to humanity live? I'm sorry. I'll bet he torn off 8 shirts to expose his toned body. After which he'd throw his head back look at the ceiling spread his arms crucifix style and waited for chicks to squeal, his guitar slung on his back. His keyboard work beat his guitar playing. I've only bailed on 3 shows, this was one. He might know his way around a studio or hired good people. Just a semi-amateur goofs opinion by not "the" David Gilmour (I do appreciate the hard work it took) I'm trying to play the live version of "I'm so Afraid" off "The Dance" concert Buckinghams over my head on that song. I butcher it, throw me a bone please.
