I love the whole song, each verse was great, but I’d be lying to myself if I didn’t admit that Connor is just simply on a different level. I don’t understand how the guy does it so consistently. His rhyme schemes, his flows, his deliveries, the man simply eats every track he’s on like a mid day snack. The way he switched his vocals up during the mera mera no mi just hits you in the chest so hard man. Bravo to everyone on this one though, I may have a favorite but all three of you are amazing!

The concept is basically the "Crown" rap concept just in another style. Less dark and more "happy" Like... the differences in the hook are: 1st Rustage/Shwabadi Zeldris/Luffy 2nd Connor Meliodas/Ace 3rs Shwabadi/Rustage Estarossa/Sabo Then the 2nd hook: 1st Rustage&Connor/Shwabadi&Connor Zeldris&Meliodas/Luffy&Ace 2nd Shwabadi/Rustage Estarossa/Sabo Then the last hook is basically the 1st The difference in the song is that in Crown at the end Rustage ends with a lil rapping

A few things: How often has your channel name been a casualty of misspelling? Regarding the hook, to be honest, I enjoyed the layered, musical round approach to the hook when I first listened to the song. But after another one or two listens, I’m kinda mixed about it, for the same reason as you (and I think Scru Face Jean had similar feedback on his reaction). But overall, this is such a good track to listen to, all of your verses especially. And yeah, SkeepTiel went off with the editing.

I can't remember if it's canon or not, but a lot of people are under the assumption, including me that the crossed out s stands for Sabo. Ace thought that Sabo died so the crossed out s is a tribute to his "dead" brother.

So having the "E" stand for Edward Newgate wouldn't make much sense. You can look up the video "Ace Joins the Whitebeard Pirates One Piece English Dub HD 720p" and at the 16 second mark you can see the tattoo. I'm pretty sure Oda never explicitly mentioned what the tattoo meant, but there have been several hints that it's a tribute to Sabo, in the manga. I just started reading the manga and still in the romance dawn arc, so I can't personally confirm the hints.

If you’re still looking for an answer a month later, it’s canon. Oda drew a what if sabo were still alive with all three brothers united and Ace has the tattoo as just ace (chapter 596). To go even further the crossed out s is really sabo’s Jolly Roger as kids the three of them had flags that were just the first letter of their name with an x through it not a crossbones pattern. I hope that clears it up for you.
