the "Cursin you out" bar has an additional layer to it: "with the steel to my brain" refers to the Curse animation in the Pokemon games, where the Pokemon literally drives a steel nail into itself. you know, for kids!

This cypher was TOUGH. The bars were really clean, that beat was CRAZY, and the lineup went in with the energy. Added this one straight my nerdcore playlist when it came out. Great reaction!

Freshy is _incapable_ of making a beat that doesn't make me actively want to blow my speakers out. I know his style isn't for everyone but personally it's like crack to me. And yeah, Hala and Conner both absolutely *nailed* the character performance part of their verses! There isn't a single verse in this cypher I don't love but my top 3 would probably be Hala, Connor, and Peso.
