From this video, what I've been able to decipher is that this "senior" woman had a problem with Shweta's difference of opinion on a performance she liked so she challenged Shweta (in a quite aggressive and insulting a tone in my opinion) to prove her eligibility to judge a performance. When Shweta did bring in a student of hers to show what she thinks a dance performance should be like, there was a vast difference in the attire. Shweta's candidate was dressed in casual jeans kurta, while the other performer was in actual costume. Shweta's student had a stick in his hand while the performer had a broom. Shweta's student came in as he was while the performer was most probably wearing suitable make up as well. It clearly looks like she wasn't given as much time to teach as the performer had to rehearse and practice. With that in mind, if you ask which one looks more appealing or seems to align with the theme the most, a normal viewer will most probably choose the performer who had all the tools. Shweta's entire point was to show how STEPS could've been better since it was a dance competition (I assume) and not an acting one, while the old lady (most probably a boomer) was stuck up on whether it looks like a real setting or not. Add to that the obvious miscommunication that Shweta was told she should show how "more dance could be added to the existing performance" and "where it could've been better", not that her student has to compete with the real performer. If Shweta was a part of the panel of judges, she shouldn't have to prove herself in the first place, and a sane judge should be able to swallow difference of opinion with other judges. But if she was a mere participant herself, then it makes sense for her to be challenged. I think there's a lot of context that is missing here. But the old lady still seems too aggressive and dramatic for a sane judge. She took it upon herself to put Shweta down to sooth her bruised ego. And there's an imbalance of power in the show. The old lady could insult and challenge anyone but she must not be challenged or insulted.
