AMMA | Shweta Mohan's new song for mother Sujatha Mohan at Mirchi Music Awards South |

#RadioMirchi conferred the "Lifetime Achievement Award" on Amma #SujathaMohan last month and they made the occasion all the more special for our family by having me perform a tribute to Amma for her illustrious career in the music industry spanning 5 decades. This song #AMMA was written for this special occasion and the song was a complete surprise for her. Our dearest fan Suchitra Kalimuthu has so beautifully put into words what I feel for Amma. I knew only a person like her who knows Amma and me so well can transcribe the emotion into the beautiful thamizh words. I'm sure every daughter and son would echo with our song's sentiment. And so, this song goes out to all mothers this Mother's Day!
