Wednesday morning, I reread the email of my work schedule for the Bernini Casino. Weeks ago, I had arranged to have this weekend free so I could work on the final paper for Economics. My boss had changed my schedule. I now worked Saturday night. Though my boss had apologized and given me the following weekend off, it was all hands on deck this Saturday. Huge college party. Technically, it would be overtime and I could use the money, and I still had Sunday to work on the paper. I texted back that I would be there.
He's shy, but he really wants to get to know the cute guy in his class.

I had to go back and listen to Regret again after I realized the connection. And now I feel like I need to re listen to the wolf stories to find those connections. Very clever.

Steph is basically the aunt of our main character in Shy as well as Wife of Edmund and matriarch of Wolf Hollow! This makes our main character cousin to Wesley Compton, and it was Wesley who gave him the scars on his cheek. Technically, 'Shy' and 'Regret' should be considered part of the Wolf series. Peace!

It’s been a long time since I have had someone fired or forcibly removed or arrested. Don’t think I have had to press charges on anyone. Most people knew who I was and since I drove Cadillacs in college then Mercedes when I held positions at dad’s company, they tended to not mess with me. Except one night at a private club. A platonic girlfriend had a membership at the private dinner club in Lafayette Louisiana we frequented weekly. We were young college students that modeled and had unlimited funds from our dads who were friends. One night I ordered a Ling Island Ice Tea and the bar manager sent our young inexperienced waiter back telling me she could not make it. When I said yes she can, I know the ingredients, he replied, she said it was a cheap drunk. I then called her over and told her in front of several prominent people that knew us, that cheap wine and cheap beer are a cheap drunk which I am sure you know lots about on your salary. This drink has four liquors in it and charged as such. Now go get my drink. We enjoyed our evening taking our time laughing and dancing. I shopped at an exclusive men’s store in town and was competing in body building. With a 42” chest and a 27” waist they only had one suit in my size in the style so I always looked like I had designer originals. Sometimes they were. Anyhow, when Mary told her dad what happened, he called the restaurant and had the bar manager fired. The next weekend, at the gay bar, Mary, her lesbian sister and I were having drinks when someone came up behind me and put their hand on my shoulder. I have a fear of crowds so I swung around knocking the arm of me and said don’t touch me! It was the scared little maître’d from the private club trying to apologize for giving us their new inexperienced waiter that night. He was afraid we would have him fired also. Little did he know our waiter was the hottest one they are, and we enjoyed flirting with him. It didn’t matter that he was slow because we took our time and was having fun the whole night. We were not in a hurry, and we enjoyed terrorizing the bar manager, who eventually got fired because of her faux pas. One of my cousins who was a beauty queen happen to be there that evening and because Mary’s dad is a neurosurgeon. There were other doctors that newest. My dad was the top pharmacist in the state and we own resources. My dad started the thoroughbred breeders association, and the Horsemans benevolence and protection association, which provided insurance for anyone associated with horse racing industry in the state, which was the largest employer until Walmart built all of their stores and warehouses. So both of our families were well known, and certainly knew half the people in this private club. Big mistake for an employee to make when they didn’t like someone their age that did not have to work. I was very nice to my friends, and often paid their way and gave them money. Most of my friends did not have that means that I did. Most of them did not have an automobile when I drove in El Dorado convertible. Then I drove Mercedes when I got out of college and still my friends if they had vehicles drove economy cars and had apartments when I had a townhouse. I certainly did not flaunt my wealth I don’t think, but enjoyed it with the friends I had in college. My best friend today was my roommate in the dorm in 1975. Ouch! That dates me!!! 😎

Steph, Edmund's wife, is Gregory's Aunt, which makes Wesley Compton Gregory's cousin. As a joke, the young Wesley pretended to be a normal wolf pup to fool Gregory, but Wesley hadn't realized that a wolf is far stronger than a human. one bit of playful, accidental biting later, and Gregory is scarred. He is considered lucky because he never changed to a wolf. a brief side note: Jack's father is Edmund's brother, which also makes him Gregory's cousin. Peace!!

Again, I can relate to this character I had cystic, acne bad, growing up in irruption‘s were huge, couldn’t hide. I dreaded going to school going out when they were exceptionally bad I’d stay home from school a day or two to my boyfriend at the time my soulmate, he didn’t see them, he seen me not the hideous tho i wasn’t shy well, unless I liked someone who i wanted to get to know as friends then the colors turned on me the blush scarlet red. And again, my reputation growing up in school, was don’t mess with him he’s lethal ! again only the bad asses and the weak wanted to run in our pack . I transferred into junior high in the middle of the school year six grade man I got the crap beat out of me. By the seventh and eighth graders that year when they found out I wasn’t a crybaby and I wasn’t a snitch. They excepted me and that’s the way it was all through junior high and high school. I had three years up on my class the freshman class, and I took my ranks with the jocks with the potheads with the hippies for the kids that I knew and were Freshmans i told them it’ll only be one time after that you’re OK for the rest of the year the worst of pranks was was dumping them in the dumpster and make and making them climb out that was a whole prank survive that without crying in the whining to one of the counselors or vice principal. Those who did never made it through the rest of the year, without being tortured a bit until they fest up manned up and apologized sad part about the high school was as a junior, I didn’t even have enough credits to be freshman , in one year I ditched 220 days of school, but partial days as I would go to the classes that I liked and then the rest had better things to do. Again, Geo thanks for the story, I finished what I wanted in the yard that I twisted my knee and it hurts a bit. I’m going to take some Aleve I took a hot bath listen to your story. It’s soothe my sore muscles to listen to and now I’m off to the store. ☮️ 😀🙂Peace Geo ….. hum,,, store then to Mickey D’s to order a couple of patties cheese bacon may be on the pad lettuce 🥬 that was some chicken wings that I made the night before and that’s dinner. Good enough for any wolf 🐺 lol

This story, and its companion story 'regret' are part of the werewolf cycle of stories. Its subtle, but they were married at his Aunt Steph's house, the big stone manor at Wolf Haven. Peace!

@@geoallred1698 i will keep to watch it the morning for something good 👍 to listen to can’t wait 😛 dinners done ✅ three 1/4 pound patties and eight chicken 🍗 wings tho spicy hot finger, licking good 👍 i will listen 🎧 to a few of your stories then dress go out and finish the back yard mowing then if i finish early enough head over to my sisters and nephews for the weekend if it’s too late, then I can’t drive over the mountain turner winding turning the roads but its pretty drive they want me to come over so we can talk about a road trip to Redding California so we can look at some land. They kind of want to get away from Portland. Gray cold 🥶 and then may be a drive before we head back through the redwoods. I miss them. Hopefully there’s some left well as always ☮️ 😀🙂 Peace Geo …..
