I need you to follow up with a video on what to do! He acts all the ways you describe, but even before I started to rationally try to make sense of his behaviour, my intuition was telling me he is REALLY interested in me. My intuition can't be lying, because it usually says the opposite of this about the vast majority of guys who leave me wondering about their behaviour. The problem is that all of these shy behaviours make it IMPOSSIBLE to establish a connection, no matter what I try to do. How do you want me to smile at him if he turns away before I can establish eye contact? How do I say hello to him if he literally runs away when I walk his way? How do I engage with him if after I do say hello he bolts? I need you to tell me how I can bring him to be brave (this is about confronting his fears) and sustain just enough eye contact or interaction to feel a wee bit more comfortable next time. I think he feels intimidated by me. I am a foreigner in his country, and the women are NOT like me around here. These women make themselves dependent of men all the time, like they aren't allowed to exist without their approval, whereas I am completely independent, straight up, and even my natural body language says that I give exactly zero ducks. But also, I am pretty sure my body language changes around him and he can feel my interest in him just as much as I can feel his, only he doesn't trust it. The local manual on how to deal with attraction doesn't apply to me, and he knows it, so he is in the dark about how to deal with this, because he doesn't know the code from where I am from. But I know the local code, I have been living here for two and a half years. What do I do?

Hello Tiye Harris. I am quite shy (trying to push myself out of my comfort zone though) and the guy I have a crush on also seems shy. Some things I’ve noticed: -when I said hi to him, he seemed nervous and didn’t make great eye contact but still responded hey quietly. -we’ve made eye contact a few times from afar (only for 1-2 seconds) -when we passed by each other he lowered his eyes -we are co-workers in a store. When I call for price checks he comes up really fast and always comes up. Some people do not come up at all. Or not that quickly like he does. -I was standing at the til and he passed by and when I looked his way, he looked the other way really quickly. This happened twice.

Mine is even worse. noemistephanie93 Well, he's probably uncomfortable with you for some reason, which can be a crush or not. If you're not willing to straight up ask him, talk to some mutual friends about his behavior. Don't imply that you think he has a crush on you because that may change some of the answers you get an end the whole situation badly. Just casually comment on how different he's acting to you compared to others; his friends might full in the blanks. Your main goal is to see if this is how he treats his enemies or his crushes. If he's treating you as an enemy for no reason, you should of course confront him. But if he's got a nervous crush (naturally flirty/overly friendly people are often terrible when they're actively flirting) it may come down to you to get the ball rolling, and when that happens be prepared. :)

noemistephanie93 Well, you've got some pretty good signs there, but from your post before I would understand your confusion. Since you said you're shy and he seems to have a difficult time actively flirting, you might want to try electronic flirting like texting or Facebook messages. I know this is nerve racking to think about but a guy who's into you will never turn down your number. If you feel that's too forward, if you're friends on social media like Facebook you could message him that way. A lot of shy people have a much easier time flirting over social media. It feeling more private at times and gives you a chance to build a more personal history. If you get into a pattern of regularly messaging with him, you both may feel more comfortable talking in person. Since you originally meet in person, you have a basic idea of what to expect from real life interaction. However, you have more information to work with this way when you do interact in real life. Just don't let it replace real conversation, it's a tool.

I know i've talked with guys who don't want to seem "inappropriate" especially in church, so they shy away from romantic interactions in the church building. If you text or talk on the phone often I would probably say something like the following: "Hey James I saw you at church today and was sorry I didn't get a chance to say hi. Maybe we can get together for lunch or coffee one of these days." Inviting him to talk to you outside of church will allow you to gauge his interest in a more comfortable setting.

I have a question, and it may be hard to explain, but me and my crush are in a musical together. I was in the auditorium row (where the audience sits) and I was packing my things, getting ready to leave rehersal. When I was walking out of the row to leave, I noticed that he was walking down the alley (where people walk to find the row they sit in) and he was looking at me. We met up at the end on the row I was in. I'm just wondering if he was trying to talk to me. I feel bad if he was because we only smiled and he just let me leave. Hi guys, I have a dilemma. I feel like this guy Zack is into me but I'm not sure. He's incredibly antisocial but since his best friend is dating my best friend he is spending a lot more time with us. When we make eye contact he smiles, and I've started to get talking to him and laughing with him. He does not talk to any other girls as far as I know, in fact, he mostly stays away from everyone and only talks when he has to. He smiles at me in the common room and sometimes even sits with us. He's more social than he was when I first met him. We do one subject together. He's not great looking but really clever and good at music and sports. He's also absolutely hilarious whenever he does open his mouth, his comebacks are the best when annoying people try to talk to him. I feel like we've taken him out of his shell but I want to take it to the next level. He replied to my text message with 'U wot m8.' Does he like me? What should I do to entice him?

I like this new guy in my school. He's a grade older but I kind of see him around sometimes. He's not in my circle of friends nor do we have any classes, so how do I talk to him? I know he likes tennis but if I go up to him and talk about that he'll know that I've been stalking him. I also don't know how to start a conversation with pout it being awkward and I don't really talk to any of his friends so it will seem weird if I just go up to him. I think he likes me because he does all the things in these shy guy videos. Oh and I also followed him on Insta, he followed back but he never likes any of my photos although I know he's active on Instagram.
