Concerning the comments saying it's still symmetrical in some levels. When it comes to PvZ people use "symmetrical" to describe defenses where every lane has the same plants at the same spot, or simply when the upper and lower lanes are mirrored. When you only plant in the middle you can't really call it "symmetry" because there's no up or down to mirror or anything.

You can though, using not the oddly specific rules for the challenge that make it possible instead of just admitting it's not. If there's nothing planted, then it by default is mirrored and symmetrical. So yes, challenge failed right from the get go. Also, for 1 2 or 1 3, isn't it super easy and not rng? I may be confused on the word symmetrical somehow, but couldn't you just switch around the placement of 1 pea shooter and sunflower in the same row and break symmetry?

But only focusing on the vertical rows completely ignores the horizontal columns...if he were to view the board as a grid, it would allow for vertical and horizontal symmetry, along with rotational and radial symmetry. It would be a much easier "challenge", but it would create more interesting gameplay and patterns.

technically this is SOME sort of symmetry since the plants are still in lanes going forward, other than going from up to down. without symmetry it would just be spamming plants randomly with 0 pattern. but god damn this is a way harder challenge to beat and to look at. good job sir
