Kingdom Rush is one of the more notable Tower Defense games, instead of simply being tall towers shooting at trespassers, it leans closer to a battlefield thanks to the ability to send all sorts of solders on the path to block & fight enemies. It's simple, but beautifully executed. But what if we ditched ally units and instead played the game as if it's a traditional "tall towers shooting at trespassers" tower defense? It gets interesting, to say the least...

I think we can all agree that the Imperial Guard in level 6 do not count as ally units for the purposes of this challenge. They're more of an environmental feature anyway, like the mines in ice levels, or the graveyards. Also they are created regardless of player interaction, and do not hinder the player in any way (even through a cooldown, like how reinforce works). Hence, victory is yours, Mr Mask.

I've always used Big Berthas for the Vez'nan level and it's genuinely fun despite requiring almost no strategy. It's funny to see them all launch their dragonbreath missiles at the same time when an enemy spawns after no enemies are on the field for a few seconds

Awesome video, I am a fan of the kingdom rush franchise and I think the challenge was awesome, I don't exactly use bomb towers, and I probably don't even give them enough credit because they fill in something the other towers lack, so it was very amusing to me hearing the catch phrase the bomber dudes say at the end there, that gave me a good laugh!

Very interesting challenge, I will try it later. However, Frontiers are a lot harder bc you can't use necromancer tower at all. And other towers don't have such blocking skills like teleport from arcane mage or vine trap from rangers. Oh wait, archimage has that tornado upgrade but it's not that helpful. And level 14 in campaign automatically gives you dwarven barracks. Saurian nightscales and darters are going to be troublesome. Anyways, I hope there will be more videos about this franchise. I wish you all good luck. *Edit I forgot about sandcrawlers who can be damaged only when blocked so frontiers are just impossible

This game: really good ad free nostalgic flash game. 2019 games: ads every 5 seconds, ad free is purchasable, even on "premium", premium does *nothing* , donate uwu?, skins, gems, etc. I remember to play these games and other versions of it on both browser and my old useless tablet, such a great game even though I couldn't read *ANY* English. You know what’s funny, I just finished a run using ONLY allied units and based on this video, it seems like it’s much harder to go without any allied units than only with. Barbarians DPS is more than good enough to deal with most enemies and the only real problem I had was dark knights and slayers because of their immense armor
