19:00 Uf. It is like people who arrive 5 minutes before closing time and DEMAND to be attended. "Well you are still here!" Yes, and if they attend you, they will have to clean everything again, and then they will still be here half of an hour later. I just can't with these people. I am mortified if I go to a place even 15 minutes before they close, and I always ask "is still open?" in case they want to tell me that they have already closed, even if it is before the time.

Last place I worked with anything similar to that kind of thing was a local pizza place owned by a friend of the family I've known my whole life. We do live in a small town and people are usually pretty good about respecting that sort of stuff, but during the summer or other heavy tourist times of year it would happen. For me, what it boiled down to was cost. If somebody showed up or called at 10 minutes to closing and had a 100+ dollar order, no problem. If a couple drunk twats show up and want 1 small pizza, nah, sorry we're closed. I'd also make exceptions if the person who was placing the order had some reasonably entertaining story about why they're so last minute, or just if it happened to be an attractive woman of some kind...I am a dude after all :/
