I think we tend to forget how young Jess is. A lot of things and happenings in the culture that seem like common knowledge to most of us in our 40s and up were missed by her generation. Sounds like an excuse to me. I'm in my 40's but I know a lot of things that went on before my time. It's called research. Jess does not seem to take the job serious. Wake up early and research what you want to talk about, so you are better prepared to talk about it while you are on the air. If she prepares more, she will not sound so incoherent. I followed Jess for a long time, and I think she has talent, but she has been struggling and that is just some constructive criticism. However, I think she can get better and only time can tell but I think she can do better researching so she can sound more knowledgeable on the subject she is speaking on.

I think we tend to forget how young Jess is. A lot of things and happenings in the culture that seem like common knowledge to most of us in our 40s and up were missed by her generation. This happened 25 years ago. 25 years ago Jess was 7. So I'm not surprised she doesn't know much about Shyne or the incident being discussed. Gotta give her some grace, at least with this one.
