The audio editing for this thing was both a nightmare and really satisfying. Kinda embarrassed I bothered the crew about an audio clip (which they couldn't provide) since I ended up solving the issue on my own, but at least I know more stuff now ig, we live we learn.

The best part about this whole thing is in the campaign Chris brings up using the Rod in helpful situations more often while John sorta forgets he has it only brings it up to spite Chris

One of the most dangerous cursed items is the TRULY immovable rod. The moment it is activated it is affixed in its place in time and space. It rips a hole in the universe and destroys all of reality in the blink of an eye.

I was initially expecting the joke to be that all of them are arguing over the rod except it's actually just stuck in it's display at the shop and can't be taken elsewhere.

I don't... thiiink a "Truly Immovable Rod" would do that? At most it would poke a hole through the planet, and then... start a long, drawn-out process of _eventually_ relocating everything in the universe to its current location (a process that will take longer than heat death).

@@mattparkent440 Okay, you've defined it as relative to a reference frame that doesn't actually exist, which is a bit hard to interpret, but... it's kind of hard to imagine a way that reference frame _could_ exist that would result in all of reality being instantly destroyed? Unless... I guess you're imaging the the universe as something that pops like a balloon if you poke a hole in it. (I don't think that's how it works. Actually, I tend to imagine black holes as holes poked in the universe.) Or maybe it's a logical contradiction thing, i.e. "This rod absolutely represents something that CAN'T EXIST, therefore LOGICAL CONTRADICTION AND EVERYTHING EXPLODES".

If i can speak on this This is the first campaign in a - wonderfully named - podcast Tales from the Stinky Dragon. It's got fun cast banter (they're not asses all the time lol), a nice story (which especially picks up right around Pyous Pass, the 1st arc after the introduction) and awesome music (that really begins to shine in Wight Winter, the arc right after that). Though i wouldn't say that the intro is not entertaining, i started bursting out laughing at around the 3rd episode when they started having door troubles and the characters began to grow on me. This podcast has made me laugh like no other, and my family constantly comes up to me asking what the hell I'm wheezing like a madman about lmao 😭 They have some KZbin animated/puppet shorts that got me interested in the first place, they use podcast clips for most of them. If you wanna see if you like humor before committing, check them out! The name is the same as the podcast
