@@justadog8011 if you mean at the end of the Genocide Run, you can't spare Flowey (Asriel), but a minor detail; when you encounter Asgore, *you* have to press something before you attack, but with Flowey, "you" attack without any input (if I remember, that's how it went)

@@connorschultz380 you're forgetting that chara is starting to break the boundaries of the game, as seen when you attack sans TWICE in *his own turn*, and how on several occasions your character behaved a bit strange thorough the genocide route. so it's likely that it's not a coincidence

I appreciate this song, because this is one of the few neutral Chara songs. A lot of Chara songs (or songs about/sung by Chara) usually paint them as a monster/mass genocidal child. Or we have the other extreme, where they make them a misunderstood good guy who lost everything. This song shows ambiguity. You can hear fear in their voice. There is sorrow here, but it’s not telling of Chara’s personality. It just tells you what Chara is witnessing here. The song does imply that Chara wants Frisk to be good (hence “reset it all”). However, we see Chara’s slow decline as well (hence “Let’s erase it all”) My interpretation is that Chara cares for the monsters and that’s why there is so much fear present in Chara’s voice. They don’t like seeing this, and they are being forced to watch this happen. However, their senses are slowly being corrupted to a point where they enjoy watching everything burn.
