Girl you don’t have to explain anything to anybody about your health, those of us that have been watching know that you said you needed the surgery. People can’t expect for all your kids to show up in all your videos because like you said they are growing up and have friends and other things to do, I’m happy for G and that she’s living her best life. London did great in her performance and I’m happy that her and Chris have great friends and hang out and do what normal Kids their age do LIVE AND BE HAPPY! You do an amazing job raising them with structure so kudos to you and keeping them grounded. You got this, I'm one year post VSG, had the surgery on 7/18/24. I've been experiencing a lot of acid reflux, and I know what you're going through. Continue to block out the negativity and prayers on a successful surgery. Do whatever is necessary to live a longer, healthy life.

Girl, thank you so so very much for sharing! My family has been giving me some pushback on going forward with a referral for surgery. I’m content being plus size but that’s doesn’t mean my health is not at stake. There are tons of topics to take into consideration and you must choose overall what is best for you! You advocated and picked what is best for you and your overall wellbeing and I’m just so thankful you have been so open with us and have shared. I just had the revision surgery ( roux en y) for the same reason, my VSG was done in 2011..the revision is a hard long surgery but the reflux goes away..the little additional weight loss is a plus but getting rid of the reflux is well worth it. I did have some complications but nothing my God couldn’t fix!.You got this! wish you well,🙏🏽 any questions I’m here for you!!❤

My mom went through the same thing. Plus the first surgeon botched her Gastric sleeve anyway. She should've never had that to began with smh 🙄. Revisions are great money makers so I don't see the process changing much🤷🏾‍♀️

Thank you for explaining your medical situation. My son went through a very similar experience in 2013. Do not hesitate to go to ER if you experience pain in your legs or if you feel lethargic a week after surgery. Blood clots are real. My best to you and your family.🙏🏾

Girl, I get the post surgery nausea! I had never had any general anesthetic before I had my first mastectomy at age 49. I was 10 minutes from getting to go eat some lunch when I started vomiting. I threw up so hard I blew a cautery of a vein and started bleeding internally so much it looked like my breast was regrowing lol. So I had a whole nother surgery that day 😂 Now, I’m very careful to spell out that history when I get an anesthesia consult and they tailor my drug cocktail to eliminate the issues. But, hoo… that first time is TOUGH. I’m sending prayers and love your way….

I will pray for you. I had fibroid ablation surgery last month. I had about 10 fibroids. I was told the surgery would be easy and I would be back to normal activities in about a day or 2. That was not the case. I had a very tough time. It's been a little over a month and I am doing a lot better. However I had difficulties that I haven't heard of anyone else having after that particular surgery. I am 41 and healthy overall, praise God. So I understand the stress and pain in thinking things will go one way with surgery and then it goes in the opposite direction. But I THANK GOD ALMIGHTY!!! Hallelujah! I am still alive and am getting back to my normal self, slowly but surely. May God bless you and lead the doctors, nurses and all those who will be involved in your surgery In Jesus Christ Name. I'm surprised your doctors didn't give you Zofran (Ondancitron) for the nausea/vomiting. It's a tiny pill that disolves on your tongue, literally works in seconds, lasts for 8 hours. They can also give it in your IV at the hospital. Good luck and we're praying for a speedy recovery.
