Great night. 1998 was sweet because it was Dave's comeback and a short tour. He looks so good here and happy. Felt special. He saved all his energy for the songs. R.I.P Fletch. That's why I'm here today.

В 1991 году «Enjoy the Silence» стал победителем в номинации «Лучший британский сингл» на церемонии вручения музыкальных наград Brit Awards. Мартин Гор, написавший «Enjoy the Silence», изначально планировал песню как балладу в тональности до минор, на демозаписи под звуки фисгармонии пел сам Гор. I remember seeing them at Wembley Arena in late September 1998 - my first Depeche gig and I realised what I had missed over the previous years. People in the queue (some cute girl in leather trousers and her mates) had flown from Eastern Europe just to see that gig. Dave G looks 5 years younger than he did in 1993, not 5 years older!
