So,thank God that still in our world there're artists who are hidden treasures only because they serve the art and don't try to be just"popular"like Nicholas Spanos and pandolfis.Promotion and popularity isn't synomim of true greatness.Each of us should chose what they enjoy and not just be told by someone based on popularity and commercial success what to like and praise.If for some promoted artists have real appeal in them they should be able to say what they PERSONALY like and not push others

Dear Nuti, thank you very much too. I'm happy we can just enjoy art like that and unite in musical appreciation of it:-) We are lucky that we still have some artists who share all their soul with their listeners without showing off and using vocal tricks to impress as many people as possible just to get loud applause and become popular at any cost... and we can choose from them or enjoy all of them as different singers find different colours. In this case we are so lucky to hear countertenors:-)

@NADYAKOST I've listened to other versions of Si dolce e' il tormento on YT, in my opinion it's absolutely the best and most intelligent interpretation without any sweet sounds but expressing genuine emotions and BEAUTY of the piece without cheap vocal tricks! Bravissimo!

We are the best judges as we chose the best sincere art possible and think for ourselves and are not influenced by any promotion and fashion, as Oscar Wilde said that a person who doesn't think for himself doesn't think at all. Besides who now can jugde what is real castrati singing recreation possible nowadays as we have no castrati anymore and nobody heard them and what is only a smart promotional move calculated on the average people and which will be just sold for the market?!
