i think she had many reasons to come to that decision. fame, fans, her past... i really really like her and i don't care if she is wearing a wig or not because she seems to be a wonderful person with a wonderful talent :)

She doesn't only do it so people don't know what she looks like but she also does it because she developed stage fright. She has stated before that the wig helps her not pay attention to people and it has helped her not forget lyrics to her music. She said before when she could see the audience she would wonder about the person did with their life and it distracted her from what she was doing. Before anyone asks, "If she has stage fright why is she still famous", well fellow answer seeking person, Sia wanted to stop being famous and only write music for well-known artist after all of the stuff she went through, her fiance dying, drugs, etc.. She wrote Titanium with David Guetta (and some other people), sang the demo, and asked him to find someone else to sing it. Eventually, it was recorded with a different artist ( Mary J. Blige, you can look up her version and find it). But long story short David used Sia's voice without permission and it launched her back into the mainstream because the song was hit. That's all folks.
