Execute Virtue-Msty's Bae That's the thing - it's very clearly intentional and part of the tone she wants to give off. I think it's beautiful. Whether it's healthy in the long-term, we'll see, but thankfully her voice has held up for many years.
@gayajay8 жыл бұрын
BEAUTIFUL VOICE! But also take into consideration that her music isn't for mindless tune heads. This woman's voice speaks to a special type of individual. People who experience feeling and emotion at a deeper and darker place. Not darker because it sad, although she does make me cry. But more like the deepest bottom of the most beautiful ocean. It goes so deep into its own beauty to the point where it looks dark because it's all you can see. Light can blind but darkness makes us open our eyes even more. When I first heard Chandelier I experience an array of emotions. So I listened to it again and felt a hole different level of emotion. Then I listened to it again and experienced even deeper emotions. Not just the song but the way she sings it..., it's like the skeleton key to my soul in that it can unlock even the deepest parts of me. There's simply no way of shutting her out. When one song from a single ARTIST can bring on such an authentic, yet all the more safe, feeling of vulnerability you cannot help but to want more.

The best thing about sia is that she isn't perfect, her voice is raspy, sometimes it squeaks, sometimes it gives, but its ALL skill, ALL talent, and ALL passion. Her voice is always consistent because it doesn't matter if she is having a good day or feeling sick, she always has control and perfect skill.
@ForeverMasterless4 жыл бұрын
The thing is, she's using that stuff very intentionally, and so she kind is perfect? Vast majority of professional singers stay far, far away from crack/rask/squeak stuff because when unintentional it's a terrifying, ugly mistake. They'd sound the same thing as Sia if they could, it's just that largely, they can't. Performing a "mistake," at will in an aesthetically pleasing way is basically you've won at singing. You've pushed yourself off a cliff most won't go near, completely confident you can catch yourself on the way down.

That 'Titanium' performance is a proof she can sing without voice cracks if she wants to. They are 1 of the many reasons why I like her. She uses it as an advantage rather disadvantage. Her voice cracks sound better than a lot of singer's voice and they are part of her singing style.
@nouveau85227 жыл бұрын
Yeah, it's pretty clear she uses it consciously by now as part of her style. If she really had uncontrollable voice cracks, she wouldn't have pulled off an 11 second long note so flawlessly. Her voice could perhaps have cracked if she went for a more intense vibrato, but I doubt it.

@mochiemoji33726 жыл бұрын
CircumcisionIsChildAbuse, well that’s what you think but that’s what he or she believes and well so do I, god creates miracles just like some of these great musicians voices that even thank god for their voice they have. But of course with practicing while, your statement is an opinion, no fact, and mine is as well but just saying Sumukh has a right to voice her opinion and you can’t state your opinion as if it is a fact.
@CircmcisionIsChi1dAbus36 жыл бұрын
Mochi Emoji well until you can demonstrate your absurd claims will I even humour what you claim to be true. It's unreasonable and wishful thinking based. The funny thing is, you're claiming something without proof, that's not an opinion it's an assertion and I am not presenting an opinion I am presenting a refutation of your baseless assertion. And I factually made the claim for the credit of the artists being towards their practice, not your imaginary friend, the world doesn't revolve around you or your delusions.
@mochiemoji33726 жыл бұрын
CircumcisionIsChildAbuse, delusions? You act as if I’m the only one who believes this, and " the world doesn’t revolve around you" seriously that’s what you have to say, it actually doesn’t make any sense to what the conversation is, I never said that it does did I? I only stated my opinion to that your opinion is not a fact and it’s sad how you say that you used factual credit by saying," I factually made the claim for the credit of artists being towards their practice..." if you claiming credit for artists than me saying that " There is even talented musicians that thank god for their voice" means that I too have factually made my claim as well so you as well saying my claim is "delusional" and "not your imaginary friend" honestly doesn’t make any sense than, but you can state your opinion like everybody else can, but your claim and this response is still an opinion and some people believe it and some people don’t at all like me. Not to say that my claim isn’t an opinion, like I’ve previously stated in my recent claim. So delusional? Than your claim is also delusional.
@CircmcisionIsChi1dAbus36 жыл бұрын
"delusions? You act as if I’m the only one who believes this," Yes delusion, religious belief fits almost every psychiatric criteria of the term delusion. It wouldn't make a difference if you, and the entire world believed it. That doesn't determine if it's true or not. For example, tomorrow, everyone could believe the earth to be flat, and they'd still be wrong. Your beliefs don't influence reality. Your beliefs however influence your perceptions of reality. "it actually doesn’t make any sense to what the conversation is," well, actually, it does. Because you religious panderers try to give credit of amazing talent by humans to non-human imaginations. It went from talking about AMAZING TALENTED ARTISTS, to talking about YOUR BELIEFS in YOUR imaginary friend because this artist couldn't have been fantastic without YOUR imagination friend. and yes, I say, YOUR, as in you personally because your idea of god is guaranteed different from everyone elses. Like if I went around and told everyone that their accomplishments are not their doing but that of my friend Chad, he's awesome. That's some great violin skills there Brian, you were truly inspired by my friend chad, he amazing, have I ever told you about Chad? You're chad gifted for sure. Thing is, no one's ever seen chad, he's just "there" and I take normal every day events and pretend they're amazing and chad made them happen which makes me love chad even more. That's how ridiculous it is when I read comments like yours. The entire premise of god, is egocentric. Think about it, the creator of the ENTIRE universe, incomprehensible size, omnipresent, omnipotent, but he decided to take interest in YOUR life, on a personal level. How convenient, for YOU. I mean, out of all the suffering and horrible acts going on in the universe, surely, he decides to give a fuck about how one species of primates dress themselves, speak, which position they fuck in, who they fuck, what they fuck, what gods they believe in (if any) and determine who gets to be tortured for eternity, I mean, busy guy, but he takes the time for YOU. I say egocentric also, because he's entirely in your head, and that's it. Your imagination, your beliefs, opinions, and idea of god, is invented in your mind because I can guarantee the god of your bible, is vastly different form the one you believe in. "I only stated my opinion to that your opinion is not a fact" Yeah, I already explained the difference, I refuted your assertion and the original comments assertion. You asserted a claim, I refuted it, based on the fact, that you have no evidence for your beliefs, if you did have evidence, religion wouldn't require faith and indoctrinate children, and kill in order to infest more humans. Like a really bad cold. Im not going to even attempt to make sense of the rest of the gibberish of your message because you seem to not really know what you're trying to say, let alone communicate it in words to me. My point was simple. Stop crediting the hard work, practice, glory and accomplishment of human beings to your imaginary friends, that way I'll be less tempted to call out your stupidity. Like the type of idiot who hears news reports of dozens of people burning to death in an apartment fire but a bible being left intact causes them to praise the glory of their god. If their god is that small, than I guess the dictionaries and encyclopedias that are left intact in building fires must be glorious as well.

@eeyore84852 жыл бұрын
@@tammiscalplock520 she hid her face after she struggled with alcohol and fame. Chandelier explains her struggle. She had to leave performing because of the monster it triggered but still wrote songs and gave them away. Then when she felt the pull to go back to singing, she decided she needed to keep a “barrier” between her and the trigger … hence the mask. It allows her to do what she loves but helps her to keep it small, real, grounded
