Great fight this one, and some very unhappy disrespectful fans from Anton's corner booing their opponent. Chipchase put it to Anton in a way his fans deserved. Shame such a good fighter has such terrible people supporting him. Takes more than most people have to step in the ring & they deserve our respect whether they're fighting your family or friends or not. Hopefully they've learnt their lesson

the trouble with 2technical fighters is they all try to fight like Paul there trainer...Paul was a 1 off fighter only he has the skills to do them.
@beedt7142 жыл бұрын
well he is their trainer... and he trains them the way he knows best , which is his way of fighting.. so how else do you expect them to fight? lol.

@@beedt714 Your missing the point completely....he was a natural at the moves....to try and train someone else to do them is a completely different ball game.

@@MinotaurvsCyclops ok, so I guess a coach has 0 influence on their fighters and fighters just do their own style. Sure buddy
@MinotaurvsCyclops2 жыл бұрын
@@beedt714 Of course they have influence, but they shouldn't be the same. If they're gonna be the same then how can a hard hitting go forward fighter and a long technical fighter go and train with the same coach?

Anton Austins corner needs some code words. Paul his trainer is speaking the same language Jonno speaks and telling him to do specific moves. Surely Jonno must hear ALL OF THEM lol. create some code words bro...

Not really how it works. Usually when you're up there with all the adrenaline you only hear voices you're familiar with.

@@MinotaurvsCyclops uh no sir. Ive been there plenty of times and I can literally hear the corner telling my opponent what to do. If I can hear my coaches words , so can they. If you have issues hearing your opponents corners words due to adrenaline , i suggest you learn how to stay calm in the fight and pay attention. Thats why UFC guys have their own codes, like every other high level fighters.

@@beedt714 I've also been in the ring many times, it is just something I don't focus on. Not all fighters listen to their corner, if I hear their corner say "right hook" then he does a left one, then I'm kinda fucked, eh? So instead of listening to his corner, I just focus on my opponent and what he's doing. I've never heard of any coaches that have secret code words, some have some keywords from what they've been working on but mostly they just use numbers as it is concise. I think if you're in the ring just listening to your opponent's coaches then you're doing something wrong 😄, an example, one of my sparring partners is the ex-northern champ, and he's deaf.
@beedt714 Жыл бұрын
@@MinotaurvsCyclops So you mean to tell me when Anthony johnson heard Gustaffsons coach call out certain combinations in ENGLISH.... he literally heard him and countered him and knocked him out in his home country. If you and your gym dont have code words (like a play book , even all sports have play books . Soccer , football , baseball , any sport has their own play book) then I think you're at a wrong gym buddy. Are you familiar with Eddie Bravo and his system? The guys system is ENTIRELY made up of their own code words that no one understands unless you train with them. Maybe you havent heard Khabib coaching his team mates using code words? Your example of your deaf friend is an exception, there isnt too many deaf fighters and I'm sure they have code hand signs. What the hell is a coach for in the fight? Just be there and watch you???????
